  1. Totally agree. The only players that you will usually see choosing winning over money is veterans who are on the downside of their career.
  2. He's not a starter in the NFL , period
  3. He played his college ball at Syracuse. Still not local , but close.
  4. Living in South Florida , I hear almost constant chatter of how the Jaguars are banking on drafting Tim Tebow to revitalize their fan base and to stave off any relocation attempt. Perhaps , the Bills should draft Tebow to ensure that the franchise that would continue to be the best choice for relocation remains the Jacksonville Jaguars.
  5. I ALMOST TINKLED MYSELF TOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
  6. It depends on what happens with FA and the draft, more so free agency. If we can bring in Mcnabb , a couple lineman , and find a stud on draft day , then we have an opportunity to be competitive or even contend for a wild card spot.
  7. Way too early to give up on Maybins potential. We all knew he wouldn't come in and be a stud right away. If he puts some weight on and is coached up a bit , I think he could have a exceptional sophmore year.
  8. Orton , seriously? I have no idea why his name is popping up in some places. Vick won't happen because of the baggage. The Bills will either trade for Mcnabb , which I think is the most likely scenario given RB's marketing genius , or take a QB first round.
  9. I think that we were all pumped up for the possibility of the team landing a big name coach that anything less than a Cowher/Billick/Shotty is viewed as some sort of failure. I actually think its the best move we made in a long time.
  10. I say they aquire Mcnabb before/during the draft and some other high profile FA...I highly doubt Michael Vick is in their cards..they couldn't afford to risk alienating even more fans after the HC debacle.
  11. There should be a clause in the terms and conditions of this discussion board that prohibits members from renouncing their allegiance to the Buffalo Bills....or at least some kinda 3 strikes your out rule... 1st offense= Warning 2nd offensse= suspension 3rd and final offense punishable by death
  12. Landing Nolan would be huge , but I hear Miami's got the jump on him (per schefter).
  13. Looking at Gailey's track record , I can't say its that bad , at all. Having said that , I feel totally let down if he is the new HC. I really wanted a HC , whos respected around the league , to come in and rejuvanate this team , based solely on his reputation , and then back it up with a solid next year. Chan Gailey is not that guy. But , in all honesty , I would take him over Frazier.
  14. "The Bills have been publicly named as one of the seven targets by the Los Angeles stadium group that wants an established team instead of an expansion one. Wilson could have squashed this by publicly stating that this wasn't an option. By saying nothing, he only adds to the instability and loss of credibility" I could've sworn when the developer in LA named the Bills as a potential franchise to move there , RW shot it down. Right?
  15. But they're the cowboys!
  16. Our lack of coaching candidates or their lack of interest in the HC job may work to our benefit. Maybe , to head off any further embarassment , RW opens his wallet a little wider to bring in Cowher.
  17. Arizona’s Grimm given permission to talk to Bills [5:29 PM] AP reports: '“I don’t know what the time schedule is on that,” Grimm said. “I’m not really worried about it right now. I’ve got a few important things to take care of first.”' Blantant disrespect of the Bills in my opinion. Im so sick of this kind of attitude and rhetoric towards the Buffalo Bills. What does freakin' Russ Grimm have thats more important than the opportunity to become a head coach in the National Football League? If im RW,BN,or RB , and read this comment from a potential candidate , I would immediately remove his name from contention.........Fuc*ing Russ Grimm.
  18. Nix could make it happen for a 2nd round pick, perhaps even later.
  19. Good point , but we are only two days beyond the end of the regular season.
  20. I don't understand your logic in asking that question. Google?
  21. To each his own, I guess. The NFL is full of bandwagon fans.
  22. I hate when I see those types of comments on this board. Being a true Buffalo Bill fan is a way of life , and yes , you are expected to know every detail about any prospective coach/player that may have the slightest chance of becoming employed by the Buffalo Bills.
  23. I seen this pic awhile back. Disturbing.
  24. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...icking-up-steam I absolutely believe that Billick is the #1 choice if we don't land Cowher. I would definitely take Billick over Shanahan (not that he is even an option) , even though the old "defense wins championships" moniker is not quite as true in the current NFL.
  25. Your use of the word "child" in your posts the last few days is almost as tiresome and unsettling as DELLAPELLEJOHN'S bulls*it inside information.
