    I would love to see Cromartie sign here and to a lesser extent Miller. We are going to be weak in our backfield this year. Mcgee is an injury liability and Florence is average at best. Cromartie would be a big upgrade. We're set a WR and Jammal Brown just re-upped with the 'Skins.

    I was watching a live broadcast of "back to football" on NFL network. Jason LaCanfora was doing an update of recent news and signings from the "man cave" and failed to mention the Barnett signing. It didn't piss me off just because I'm used to it, but F them.

    I'm glad we got Brad Smith. I was listening to am sports talk here in south florida this morning and the hosts were referring to Smith as "the cooler" because everytime he came in the game last year vs the Fins, you could expect a big play. Definitely a good pick up. BTW, why the avatar of the lady with down syndrome? Are you trying to be funny?

    Very smart and expected signing. If Fitz goes down or lays an egg, at least Thigpen and Chan are already familiar with each other and Chan knows what he can do with him. Love this signing.

    Apparently the players could vote on it as early as tonight and the lockout would be immediately lifted. My question is, would free agency begin as soon as the lockout is lifted? If so, what a way to start the weekend, because the general consensus is that it would be a "signing frenzy".

    Actually a quite good write-up. The Fitzpatrick debate will be amplified ten-fold this season. If we're still talking about a wild-card birth in week 12 , then I would consider the 2011 campaign somewhat of a success.

    Mike Miller most likely will be moved. It's very possible to package Miller/Anthony with a draft pick(s) to land a top center/point guard while staying within the cap. The Heat do have options on how to acquire a center/point guard to improve.
