This team doesn't need him. We need to find our own leaders and young playmakers. Besides, at this point in his career, why would he choose to sign with a team that is a long-shot to make the playoffs?

Buddy has stated multiple times that he will draft a QB, perhaps even trade up for one. Like it or not, this is the year we finally draft a qb, even if the perceived talent falls short of previous years.

I don't see how this could impact a team that does not have a franchise qb. An all star DL is nice and all but it won't bring you a championship.
