  1. Why is it necessary to merge a thread with an old one when the information pertaining to the topic has widespread implications throughout the NFL? One thread should be designated to the report. The other should be designated to the punishments. This isn't about a player getting caught smoking pot. It's about the reigning superbowl MVP and the NFL golden boy of the last 15 years, cheating, lying, and bribing Pats* employees.
  2. I'm not surprised at the penalty, but strongly believe it should have been at least 6 games.
  3. I don't like Brady. He's a cheat, a liar and he bribes people. That said, I support his decision to not give up his phone. Total invasion of privacy. Besides,it makes the case against him even more damning.
  4. You can't fault the Eagles for signing him. But handing over complete personnel control was just plain stupid.
  5. Punishment needs to be handed down quickly. I have a sickening feeling that the NFL will wait until the release of the report cools down, then "punish" Brady. Also, can someone explain why Troy Vincent is apparently responsible for handing down discipline and not Goodell.
  6. Welcome! I ca t believe the username "Howard" was available. Lol
  7. For me, linebacker is the only area (excluding Qb) where we're stacked. I wanna see them sign Spikes.
  8. http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2015/4/30/8501919/cowboys-2015-draft-targets-oklahoma-wr-dorial-green-beckham "Balancing out his checkered history are DG-B's on-field exploits. He boasts rare physical traits with a freakish combination of size and speed - at 6'5" and 237 pounds, he is the same size as Calvin Johnson. Like Megatron, he can use his length, strength and body control to make contested catches and to make tough grabs look easy. He has a mammoth catch radius and the ability to get over the top of defenses and threaten them vertically. In short, were it not for his off-field troubles, he would be a top-10 pick." We have talented receivers, but this guy would put us over the top. He'll be long gone before 50,so we'd need to trade up. Bring him into a solid veteran locker room and his off-field troubles shouldn't be a problem.
  9. On the couch pretending to watch whatever nonsense my fiance decides to turn on, while glancing @ my phone every 3 minutes.
  10. Smoke screen...like everything else this time of year!
  11. Mayock, unlike Kiper and McShay, actually knows what he's talking about when he breaks down guys.
  12. Probably for the top 5 picks. I really think there's going to be some fireworks early.
  13. I'm expecting this to happen. Everything done this offseason, new ownership, Rex,and a bevy of high priced proven free agents coupled with an extremely talented defense, makes a trade for Rivers seem automatic. There's too much on the line to put the success of this season on the shoulders of an unproven EJ and a journeyman in Cassel. But, I'll probably be disappointed.
  14. Bradford ends up in Tennessee, Philly takes Mariota. Bills take a guard @ 50 AP ends up in Dallas ***we somehow get Rivers***
  15. If San Diego calls up willing to deal Rivers for Dareus, would you pull the trigger?
  16. For me it's gotta be Marrone with Gregg a close second. Donahue was blown away by Greggo's binder, so he hired him over Marvin Lewis. SMH!
  17. Not to get off topic but Pegula really should take down OJ's name. There is no reason whatsoever it should remain.
