Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme
Metal Man replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not sure about this math. 15/34 = .441. Still not great but a lot closer to .500 which makes sense to me for these kinds of games as it is usually just one good/bad play that decides it. -

This is exactly what I have been doing this season using FanDuel. Usually bet 5-15$ a weekend on a parlay of winners and/or stat prop bets. I don't make them too long on the odds, usually just 3 to 5 different things that usually pays in the +500 - +800 range. I kind of look at it the same as throwing 10 bucks at quickdraw at the bar now and then but this is more fun. FanDuel has been running a promo every week where if you bet 5$ or more on a 3 leg same game parlay for the TNF game you will get a 5$ free bet back if it loses. That has gotten me more interested in TNF than I have been in a long time so I guess the NFL partnership has worked on me.

So the 6-1 in 2020 doesn't count? Let me guess... no crowds somehow makes that irrelevant? Don't mean to single you out as it seems like a lot of the board and media types are going on and on about this 0-7 in close games thing for the last 24 hours or so and I am having a hard time understanding why Josh and/or McD's years prior to 21 for some reason don't count.

The Bills lost yesterday because.... (karma reasons only)

Haha. Almost, but this is the magical one. And as a funny side not it actually took me a minute to find this. Very surprised to see how many Josh Allen prayer candles actually exist.😀 -

Didn't watch the game at home so did not light the Josh Allen prayer candle 3 minutes before kick-off. -

Why is the "McD can't win close games" argument only considering 2021 and yesterday? With a look back through 2017, albeit a quick one, looks to me like McD is .500 in 1 score games which would make sense seeing a lot of those types of games are determined by one bounce going your way or not. -
She has her own show now on FanDuel TV called Up and Adams. Not really sure exactly what FanDuel TV is but you can watch her show on youtube. I have watched a few of them over the past couple weeks. They are about 45 minutes long and she has had a lot of NFL player and coach guests. I've enjoyed them enough to continue to give them views.

NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 2, 2022
Metal Man replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll be interested to hear what you find out. I am assuming you can't cast just because this offering, at least for the local broadcast, sounds exactly like what the NFL app used to give you for free in previous seasons up through last year. I used it on my tablet sometimes to have a second game going and I recall early on trying to cast and it being disabled. -
NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 2, 2022

Looks like the out-of-market games they mention are any prime time games. Regular Season and Postseason With NFL+, you can watch live local and primetime Regular Season and Postseason games on your phone or tablet. This set of games includes Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime Video, NBC’s Sunday Night Football, ESPN’s Monday Night Football, games that are broadcast on CBS and FOX in your local TV market, and any game that is broadcast live on NFL Network. NFL Network games are limited in availability to mobile phones streaming over wireless networks only. -
The weather needs to be terrible for the majority of the home games. If not how will we keep the endless threads of "new stadium should be covered/not covered" debate going? 😈😁

NFL TV Schedule and Maps: Week 2, 2022

Ugh, what a 💩 game for the Syracuse area in the CBs 1pm slot. 🤮🤢 Miami @Baltimore or NE*** @ Pitt would have been infinitely more interesting. I think the network is grossly overestimating how many Jets fans live around there. -
The Washington Game last year was a pretty nice day IIRC. Not that 1 of 10 is anything to brag about. 😁

Maybe Kelly still had some "beer muscles" going on from the alleged legendary partying they all did the night before. 😁 TT did go for 135 on 15, 9 YPC with the Bills having the ball barely over a quarter so I can see the argument for him having more opportunities. Unfortunately Belichick*** looks to have found his way into Kelly's head that game. Really hate that guy.
-
Right but they didn't have a lot of opportunities to score with The major disparity in time of possession. Giants had scoring drives of: 9:29 (Record at the time) 7:32 6:15 Total TOP: Bills - 19:27 NYG - 40:33 Not trying to get into a big argument over it with anyone but after years of people analyzing this game the idea that Kelly's ego caused them to pass too much is just an odd take that I had never heard. No doubt there were some offensive drives that ended in punts that maybe shouldn't have but the lasting images to most from that game is the Bills D allowing 3rd down conversion after 3rd down conversion with a lot of bad tackling thrown in along the way. Especially on that 9:29 drive to start the second half which was preceded by a long drive from the Giants to end the half. The strategy to limit the Buffalo Offense was to keep it off the field by controlling the ball and it obviously worked.

Preseason week 3: Bills at Panthers 8/26 7pm (local or NFL+)
Metal Man replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
IIRC after pulling most of the starters in the 4th he did put all of his defensive starters back into the game at the end of the game when the Bills reached the redzone to preserve the shut out. 🤬 -
NFL+ Streaming Service Launches today
Metal Man replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I am a cord cutter and use a digital antenna. They are cheap and the picture quality is usually great. The local market inclusion in the old app still had value for me though. If the game opposite the bills was a good one I would use that on my tablet to monitor it. Also if the Bills weren't playing it was nice to be able to set up my tablet to keep track of the game while doing something else, like gaming. If they allowed it to be installed on a roku or something along those lines it would have value for someone without cable for the national games at least and I'd consider it. Definitely not worth paying for though for me now though. -

The NFL app on your phone or tablet used to give you your local market games as well as nationally televised games for free. Sounds to me like they have decided to start charging for something that was free for years. -
This is nothing new from him. Love Pink Floyd, but Waters has always come off as a narcissistic douche. I learned a long time ago that I don't have to like the person to like the music. We could probably find dozens of examples where this is true for most of us music fans on the board.

Thanks for the link. I will definitely check it out. I caught Omega / Jericho from one of the Wrestle Kingdoms on replay on I think Spike TV or a channel like that. I stopped on it while going through the guide just from knowing Jericho and that was my first exposure to that style. I liked it enough to stop on Spike another time when they were replaying Omega / Okada from another Wrestle Kingdom which was also an excellent match and put me on the Kenny Omega bandwagon. It definitely makes a lot of sense that those New Japan days were the early spawning grounds for AEW. Tony Kahn needs to figure out a way to translate his good booking and management of AEW into the Jags somehow and right that train wreck of a football franchise. : )

I did watch Forbidden Door. I don't watch New Japan so I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy it without much of the AEW storylines being involved but there definitely was a lot of excellent performances during it. For me the highlight was the Will Ospreay v Orange Cassidy match. I heard a lot of hype around Ospreay leading up to the PPV, and his couple appearances on Dynamite delivered, but that match took it to the next level for me. Even knowing it was highly unlikely they would let Orange win that New Japan belt there were a couple times during that match where I thought for a second it might actually happen. Excellent performances from both of them. Agree about the crowd too. An awesome crowd can really make a difference in the show. Chicago is usually pretty solid in that regard

I have been on the AEW train since the fist Double or Nothing in 2019 and like the OP it has reignited an old love for wrestling. I fell off of WWE a while back but still loosely kind of kept up with it. I was a big fan in the 80s and late 90s-early 2000s but like others have said though it eventually became unwatchable. Me and some of my wrestling buddies had heard the buzz about the new league starting up and were hopeful enough to give AEW a try on their first PPV a few years ago and it sold us all immediately. Since then I have watched all their PPVs and Dynamite each week. Actually went to Vegas last month over Memorial Day weekend for Double or Nothing 22. So far Tony Kahn has really nailed it as far as the product goes IMHO.

Oh man, that is going to make for a rough Thanksgiving night at my house. We always host my wife's sister and her family who all live in Columbia MD and are all big Ravens fans.
