  1. I started a post about this yesterday and someone put out this e-mail address for complaints to the Syracuse Fox affiliate who I would think has more to say about it than Time Warner. programming@wsyt68.com
  2. I agree, this still looks to be the most likely outcome. Don't be too quick to count the Pats* down for the count yet. 2 bad games don't make them terrible any more than 2 good games make the Jets awesome. Let the season play out and then hopefully we can start declaring the Pats* dead in the water.
  3. I haven't found a place that has a bunch of Bills fans for football yet. But Zebbs in New Hartford is a decent place with the NFL Ticket to watch football.
  4. It blacks out even to Rome where I live. When I first moved out here I did some digging about this. From what I understand the black out covers a certain area based on zip code, but also the range of any station's broadcast within that zip code. So there are stations in East Rochester that can reach Syracuse, therefore Syracuse is blacked out too. Then because Rome get's their CBS from the Syracuse affiliate, it is blacked out too. These laws need to be looked at again. Makes no sense that someone 200 miles from the stadium should be blacked out.
  5. I live in Rome too. Where are you seeing that the Bills game will be on fox this weekend? This map has been right before and by the looks of it Rome will be getting the Giants at 1pm instead of the Bills at 4.
  6. Will be a great warm-up for the real thing the following Sunday.
  7. If it is done by the same company putting on that MMA thing at the casino then I am pretty sure it is Seneca Nation. Is that the place you guys are playing before the Browns game?
  8. There was some discussion yesterday over TSW instant messenger about if the Bills game would be on television this weekend in the Syracuse market being that it is a fox game. I have lived outside Syracuse the last few years and when the Bills are on fox the Giants have been getting priority over them every time. This year the Giants play at 1, but fox does not have the double header and it looks like they will be showing the 1pm Giants instead of the 4pm Bills in everywhere East of Rochester. For all the Bills fans that this affects, I hope it is wrong, but this link has been accurate for me for years. http://www.the506.com/nflmaps/index.html
  9. Great list though after reading each one I was reminded of the piece of my soul missing because of that game. I would add the 2001 home collapse against the Dolphins to that list. It was a terrible season, hadn't won a home game yet, though it was late November, and I had the good fortune to have been at every one. Then when the Bills put up a big lead on the fins to make us feel we were finally going to get one, the Bills somehow snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.... yet again.
  10. This is a bad story. Last thing Buffalo needed was another black eye for the national media. It hurt us all a lot but it is only a game after all. I hope that the word can get back to all the players that this type of idiocy represents a very small portion of the Bills fans out there.
  11. This guy is a douchebag, not to mention your typical arrogant m!@#$ type. The Bills are likely not great, and maybe not even good, but to make these kind of assumptions before any game is played is just plain stupid. If the Bills do end up going 0-16, then you can justify writing something like this. Until then f' him and that whole 5hithole New England area right in the a55! GO Bills!
  12. That seems pretty low to me too. When did you place that bet? I got 50$ at 40-1 at Mandalay Bay just before pre-season started .
  13. +1 and pretty much the whole Panther's team looked pathetic for the majority of that game.
  14. What an f'n idiot. It would have taken two seconds of research to see that the Bills are sold out until the last two games of the season. Just one time in my like I would love the Buffalo to see some positive press.
  15. I can't believe no one has said the obvious being the main theme of this board.... The Bills, hands down, number one MUST SEE attraction. ( Especially if you have the morbid like to see train wrecks and drive slow by car accidents attitude ) j/k I still have faith. Go BILLS!!!
  16. It is tough replacing Van, he was one of the best there ever was. You have to think we can do better than Murph though. I like him, but he is much better suited for color commentary than play by play. And I second the Joe buck comments on here. He is a waste of space and has ruined many viewings of sports on Fox for me. Add Aikman to the mix and you have the worst pair in the NFL imho. Thankfully the Bills are only on fox twice a season.
  17. Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I think they call them flag girls for some reason though.... as if that makes a difference in their actual job duties.
  18. Still seems kind of useless to me. I can't see myself getting excited about a Bills game that has been over for hours. Maybe it is just me, but this doesn't seem like much of a compromise by the NFL at all.
  19. Or if you want hot ones..... Sundowner. Hard to argue against them being kind of useless, I was more just wondering if maybe someone knew about some kind of policy or rule that these teams have that prohibits cheerleaders for some reason.
  20. Ha, well I'm not blaming the FO for the Jills, and I did say semi-attractive and not ugly. I guess the idea is that extremely hot women in WNY are probably less common than in somewhere like Miami or So Cal. But that is a debate for a different thread.
  21. I noticed last night that there did not appear to be any cheerleaders for the Pittsburgh Steelers. I knew that the Jets and Giants did not have them and I guess I always thought that was just some dumb Jersey thing. However after not seeing any shots of scantily clad women trying to rouse up Steeler fans during last night's broadcast I did a little digging this morning. According to the internet there are seven NFL teams who do not have a cheerleading squad. Jets Giants Browns Bears Packers Lions Steelers Anyone have any idea why this would be for any or all of these teams? Not that the Jills are anything special, but I would rather have semi-attractive cheerleaders than no cheerleaders at all.
  22. You forgot one thing. Score more points than they do.
  23. Usually, and especially the last 9 years with the cheating Boston team, there is someone in there for me to strongly root against. That is almost as good as having the Bills in.
  24. Exactly, or more like HOPING TO is going to start a controversy. Him just being a normal player and answering questions like they all do isn't a story, so even a glimpse of his antics makes most reporters run with it full speed.
