That might be a cool way to do it. Like MLB used to be, only way to play a team in the other conference/league is the championship game. I'm pretty sure they will just add another out of conference game based on standings like they do with game 17 now. It will just even it out to a home/away every season instead of rotating that each year.

The main argument against this seems to be more games will lead to more injuries and that makes some basic logical sense. However is there any data that shows there are a lot more injuries, serious and/or minor, in late season games or the playoffs than there are earlier in the season? Seems to me, based solely off of observation watching the league for ~40 years, that the amount of injuries across the league over the course of the season is pretty static week to week. Again maybe there is data to contradict this but it also makes some basic logical sense that your risk of injury is the same any single time you step on the field whether it be in September or January.

What’s Your Most Memorable Bills Game?
Metal Man replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
So many to choose from over the years but the one that always comes to mind is the home opener against the Pats*** in 2003. Being aware of how that season ended up going, and definitely how it ended, makes the game a lot less meaningful. However being in that stadium experiencing it as it happened in the moment was something I will never forget. Crowd was crazy to start and got more insane as the game went on. It also was extremely enjoyable seeing the busload of Pats*** fans in the section next to us getting up at the end of the third and start heading towards the exits as the Bills fans chanted the "Nah, Nah, Goodbye" song. -
Aliens - Do they exist among us? What say you?
Metal Man replied to phypon's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
There are many different hypothesis attempting to explain the Fermi paradox. The civilizations always destroy themselves before discovering interstellar travel is just one of them. I personally lean towards the idea that space is just too large for life to easily find other life, and that is assuming that an alien life form even exists in a form that is perceptible to a human being's senses. I think of it like traversing a long highway through an extremely large forest, in that scenario how likely would it be for you to be able find a small anthill by stopping at any random point and wandering out into the woods? -
Do think Beane will make any trades before week 1?
Metal Man replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could see maybe some bottom of the roster pieces being traded for day 3 picks if they were unlikely to make the 53 anyway. As far as bringing in players for the 53, I wouldn't expect it unless we have some significant camp injuries. -
Can we at least all agree that Florida pizza is among the worst?

Buffalo Bills Schedule Discussion / Prediction Thread
Metal Man replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
We host my in-laws for Thanksgiving weekend, all from Baltimore and all Ravens fans. This would make for an eventful Friday evening with one group or another being disappointed/angry. -
Buffalo Bills Schedule Discussion / Prediction Thread
Metal Man replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
This schedule makes it look the the Wednesday Xmas game would be the last game of that NFL week. I thought some articles about this implied that it would actually be the first game of the NFL week leading up to the weekend slate. -

WrestleMania 40-welcome to the Levesque era
Metal Man replied to TBBills Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Have pretty much the same story bringing me into AEW as you. A few of the big names on your list are currently our and injured, (Omega, MJF, Cole), which is really hurting them at the moment but even so the roster is still pretty remarkable. They just have really been struggling in the story department lately. Hopefully they can turn it around soon. WWE is really hot right now and it would be great for everyone to have some competition like the old "Monday Night Wars" days. I am interested in checking out this past mania even though I haven't watched WWE in a while. From the sounds of it the show was pretty good. -
NFL Season's Second Game on Peacock and not National TV
Metal Man replied to sleeby's topic in The Stadium Wall
That KC would host on TNF makes sense as it is usually the case, but this article makes it sound like it is the NFL Season opener which is confusing: https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/soccer/nfl-season-opener-and-playoff-game-won-t-be-shown-live-on-national-tv/ar-BB1kzPmH?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=a46d88c562ee48a5b5c17e376e48a1f4&ei=19 -
So this article mentions how this will be the first Friday season opener since 1970. If this article is accurate then it sounds safe to assume that there will be no traditional TNF game at home for the Superbowl champ to start the year. I wonder if this is the start of a new international game season kickoff? Or maybe they just need to wait and see what Taylor wants. 😁😈

It is on Xbox Gamepass right now as well. No cross platform yet. The downside of xbox though is no dedicated servers so if you want to work cooperatively on a world whomever is hosting will have to be online for you to play in it.

Anyone jumped into Palworld yet? I have lot of hours into it over the last few weeks. It lives up to the hype.

Doctor Who (Classic)... anyone else a fan?
Metal Man replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in Off the Wall
I got this at NYCC a few years ago: Doctor Who / Abbey Road Shirt on Amazon -
I think I originally saw it on HBO at my Grandma's a few years after that. This topic inspired to try and dig up some of these old movies. Someone mentioned Motel Hell which I remember seeing at the drive-in too as the second film to I think one of the Friday the 13th movies. I was able to find Spacehunter to download over the weekend. We will see if it holds up,

I assume that number from the MIA/KC is the total viewership. I wonder how much of that 23 million is from the local market OTA? Seeing those separated would be the more interesting number.

Did Patty forget that even if that TD had counted the Bills still would have had over a minute left in the game with 3 timeouts to take back the lead?

It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line
Metal Man replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Doesn't seem like it. Using this: https://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machine I can't get the Bills into a spot after just this weeks results. With a win this week regardless of who I choose for the results of the rest of the games for week 14 they don't move into the top 7. -

Bears/Broncos tickets are going for as low as 20 bucks
Metal Man replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Posted this in the Fields thread but it is probably more appropriate in this ticket thread. My cousin lives in Chicago. Last weekend he left two tickets to a Bears game on his dashboard after parking downtown but later when he got back he noticed someone had broken into his car and left him two more.
