  1. Same. Heck, he's better than Greg R. right now. B. Smith had a 9 sack season at 39. I think Houston is aging well like Smith did. We should be going after him.
  2. his soft and refusal to press coverage was infuriating, esp. with Elam who is good in press coverage.
  3. imagine if we had better weapons like this year (at RB, and presumably at receiver)—and an OC who is not a rookie. He should have a really good year this year. Also, not to be negative, but to some extent this shows how good Allen is, but the lack of a team effort around him. He was the offense. Hopefully some more balance upcoming and a SB win!
  4. where is D Hope. Any tweets recently from him? It sounded lime we and KC were in him, and that just fizzled. Lets get him!!!
  5. imagine Diggs and Harrison Jr!
  6. Loved this pick, loving it even more now. Unless he put ranch on his wings, then trade him. 😜
  7. OT is a need (hope for Brown is not a strategy); and Edge. We have nothing but role players outside Miller as shown when he went out.
  8. still would like Houston, but this is a good guy to kick tires on.
  9. yikes, I was hoping there was someone lime Shorter who turned it on in the NFL. Perhaps he is the first? That said, would you have preferred AT Perry over him? Or is the gamble here worth it?
  10. really wanted AT Perry. Shorter has promise, we’ll see.
  11. he should counter sue ASAP
  12. seems like his issue is first step aggression. Should be able to fix that.
  13. good advertising. Every time I see this I want a Reese’s.
  14. Agreed. Jets have Rodgers, and the offensive rookie of the year (almost both, if Hall did not get injured) and D rookie of year. On paper they look much better, but how do the rookies play in year 2? Also, Mia has a QB who fits its system well, a great D and offensive that has played together. I see them closer. the Jets are dependent on rookies continuing to play well once the league has them figured out, and Rodgers jelling into that culture. They could be a juggernaut or flame out. Right now I think the plan should be prepare as if they are a juggernaut and hope they flame out. And, as you noted, we have the sustained culture that expects to win.
  15. This. I’m sick of seeing Bean and McD say Allen needs to “play smarter”. Yes, he should slide more, and he did that last year. But more than that, as you said, was a combo of the awful play calling and subpar OL personnel and play. very happy we have Torrence on the OL now. Should help Bates.
  16. Re: the Oliver talk, perhaps he plays much better with a big 1T next to him, similar to how Roueseau was MUCH better when Miller was in.
  17. not greedy at all! I want Houston for sure. Still high level despite his age. Houston and Ingram would be insane.
  18. the odd part about the "made for TV" aspect of it is they don't have the release date yet. Makes it hard to plan to watch.
  19. love this signing. Now get Justin Houston.
  20. well, the lions might disagree. Basically ditched RB, then got them back, ditched a CB, no replacement.
  21. loved the draft. Dorian Williams is going to surprise people. Then we traded back to get picks for next years presumably better draft, while still coming away with a big WR target and an OG who did not allow a sack last year.
  22. Juston Houston and L. Murray please.
  23. decent amount of good safeties on there.
  24. love it. many mocks had him 1st round. hopefully we can establish a complementary running game. dude also gave up 0 sacks.
  25. nfl draftbuzz accidentally calls him Milano, so that’s good? https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Dorian-Williams-LB-Tulane
