Like another poster noted, Knox and Kincaid may cannibalize each others numbers. I think they both do well, Kincaid with 45 yards and a TD on 4 catches. Diggs will have about 10 catches, 100 yards, TD. Knox about 5 catches for 45 yards, possible TD.

YouTube NFL Sunday Ticket: Impressions?
RyanC883 replied to EasternOHBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
is the tv in question connected by ethernet cable? If not, it may have a bad wifi antenna, so you may want to try ethernet connection. You can turn your outlets in some houses into ethernet jacks using a netgear (I think) application. -
i can’t recall, what Jet said that?

lack of pay thing is a good point. perhaps he is a “consultant” while not in the real payroll. yeah, likely legit, but sucks if he just retired.
-
wonder if he failed to show up, or if NE is olaying games trying to keep him and the other guy “This designation means Corral is no longer a member of the Patriots’ 53-man roster. However, being placed on this list also means another team cannot claim the 24-year-old off waivers, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.”

how do we know he tried to get Lance? Genuinely curious! Good news if true.

wow crazy
-
you forgot about Creed Humphrey. Also, Oliver was taken No. 9 (not late), Edmunds 19, so not all of these picks that have turned out to be non difference makers have been “late picks”.
-
oh yeah. breakout year coming! wasn't bad as a rookie either.
-
Creed Humphrey, Sky Moore, Pacco all say hello. is this a plea to be happy with mediocracy? Do teams with potential HOF QB, RB, DEs come into the season not expecting to win it all? Or at least not totally flop in the playoffs?

Bernard, Torrence and Benford all officially starters
RyanC883 replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
if he is burried on the depth chart as a CB 4, it makes sense to trade him for a 2nd rounder. This years 2nd rounder is our starting OG, much more important than a CB4 to our window of success. Next year it could be a starting safety (ours are getting old/injured), or a OL, WR, etc. I agree he played well down the stretch, very well actually. But what the heck is going on this season that makes him our CB 4??!! -
apparently, the 49ers use CMC as RB/QB. I guess when Mr. Irrelevant is your QB, you can go crazy elsewhere.

this is also possible, you can only start one guy. -

at this point, if we can get a 2nd for him I'd do it. The pick never made sense. Perhaps he can pick up zone. But taking an elite man-press guy into what is a complex zone D was odd. Luckly, we got Benford and Jackson around. -
Concerning tweets from Roger Saffold.

you also go from being one of the best, if not the best, player you are on for most of your football life, to a career in the NFL, to suddenly being out. Add on top of that whatever personal matter he has going on (sounds like his Sister passed), and it seems to be a recipe for depression. Hopefully someone he knows and/or the NFL sees these and is able to get him the help he needs. -
We are heading into a 12-5 season, maybe better.

New shiny toys are more fun to talk about. The offense we had last year was with a worse WR, TE, RB and OL group. I don’t think any team improved its D enough to stop it, or O enough to outscore it. But other teams have bigger name new players so they get the press. -

when is he not doing something annoying?? -
Since I can’t get in the survivor league, I want AZ to win since I would have picked against them and been bounced on that. 😜😜

Love these types of plays. Also shows Dorsey getting more creative or feeling he has the talent to be more creative this year.

I'm optimistic heading into this season
RyanC883 replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree with all but 3. Groot really only popped when playing with Miller. First few games will be great to gauge his ability to be “the guy”. He has the talent to do it, I don’t think it’s a given though. I guess this makes me optimistic on him but not relying on him for overall team optimism. also, no semblance of a running game. And a hurt elbow. -
no Bottinger or Klein. Surprising, particularly no AJ Klein.
-
fair point. Numbers game of average backups. Keep the ones with more upside. ideally I guess I would have cut a vet who we resign after, only letting one pressure in preseason is impressive enough to try to get creative to keep, but perhaps we were out of creative options.

Jets sense frustration from Aaron Rodgers after spotty practice
RyanC883 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
irony of a pats fan posting this. Have they needed to call out refs? exactly. Something like, “he is a great young player, but he tends to get over grabby, and sometimes he has gotten lucky, but eventually that catches up to you”. -
Bills lose Anderson, Austin and Broeker to claims.
RyanC883 replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed with trading the late picks. If the team is hard to make, trade up and get studs that can start and make an impact if you have the depth. Surprised we waived Broeker given that he played well, and our lack of OL depth. The other 2 don't surprise me given our depth there. -
I like this, here are mine. (1) Kincaid: will make multiple pro bowls, not starting this year, but in future years, particularly if we never acquire an actual "slot" receiver. He will be a great target in the redzone. (2) Torrence: long term starter that we may not be able to resign. Will play near all-pro level. (3) Williams: I was high on him predraft and still am. He will be a solid contributor that will likely have 2 contracts here, unless the 2nd is too expensive. May not be an "all pro", but above average starter. (4) Shorter. Unless he figures out route running, etc., he will be a talented guy who never figured out how to play football at a consistently high level. If he is ready to work, pleasant surprise. But with the WR room so full, seems unlikely he will get many chances here. And while he is tall, he won't likely get much RZ work due to Kincaid, Knox, and the RBs. (7) Career backup with plus starter ability. Putting him on waivers was a huge error as he was picked up by the Texams. Apparently he only gave up on pressure in the preseason on 50 snaps, so cutting him is a huge head scratcher (he was one of only 5 players who were drafted that was cut). He also won the Kent Hull trophy in college. Given the Texan OL injuries, he may see playing time very soon. (7) Alex Austin. Another player claimed by the Texans after being placed on waivers. This doesn't bother me as much, we have a lot of depth there. I could see him sticking around as a player for a while due to ST and backup CB ability.
