  1. respect for what? Is there a trophy for winning the AFC East title? I mean, look who is in our division? Who cares about winning it. Means nothing. Great job being slightly above average with a top 2 QB, that actually is quite the accomplishment.
  2. Agreed. Pegs hiring coaches scares me. But a new OC and DC with McD still there makes me wonder how much control the DC would have. Who do we get for OC? Perhaps keep Bean on to hire the new HC? McD always has his fall guy. Nothing is ever this "leaders" fault. "What happened," "no idea". 13 seconds: ST coach. Last year, Frazier (who should have been gone prior). This year, your right, likely Dorsey, who will be replaced with another horsey.
  3. Well, generally no, but that's why I targeted Denver and Dallas. Not totally rational actors
  4. then I hope for a total collapse. Johnson has been great, and we would be the top pick for any offensive minded HC. We could promote Babich to DC.
  5. another option: get a young, cheap rookie at the trade deadline. How? trade Knox, Miller, and whatever overpriced players we have that may have value somewhere (Knox to Denver, Den likes TE), Miller to a team that is building a beast at D, perhaps Dallas or Philly in an attempt to keep up with SF? Then use all the extra picks and our 2nd or whatever to move up for Harrison, Jr.
  6. is there an option for "Agree, but vomit"!
  7. Great point about the "cancer player" analysis. I think he could be a WR 1, but agree that's tough to tell. at least he becomes a solid #2. He's done well without a Steph next to him. He's my top WR target.
  8. well, Bean is generally bad-mediocre with 1st-2nd round picks, so I'd be okay trading for a guy with a 1st who is a 1st round value. 1st next year, and a 3rd the following that can become a second. Throw in Knox (Den coach gen likes TEs).
  9. agree we need another WR option, and one that could supplant Diggs. Jurdy somes to mind, but I hear he's nuts or something? The one problem I have with adding offense over a LB or DT, is will Dorsey have any clue how to use him. Finally figured out Kincaid in the 2nd half yesterday.
  10. Cook looks like he has some power with the speed. Not a pounder up the middle, but he can hit or juke a guy 2 on 1 or 1 on 1. Kincaid was open almost all day. Should have hit him more often. First pass of the game should have gone to him, not been forced.
  11. curious from people who know the cap well. How does this change if we can trade Knox and Miller prior to the deadline?
  12. AFCE is looking softer than AFC South currently.
  13. but, um, injuries ( as if other teams don’t have them.).
  14. pointless with this staff. even if Mahomes and the next Allen were available.
  15. I still think the offense was awful. Too much talent not to get a TD in the first half against a bad D. Speaking of bad D, I agree: ours was awful today. We made Jones look like an all pro.
  16. McD. Replace him as DC with Babich. McD hired Dorsey and kept him and keeps him after it is clear he is clueless. He needs to go, new HC can then can Dorsey. See, picked 2 there!
  17. hope so. Dallas? Could see Jerry Jones taking that contract.
  18. MCD is part of the problem and needs to go
  19. I get your points, but disagree re. the offense. The Pats missing two top DL kept pressure on Josh all day. Another week with no first half TD’s. The offense is a huge issue.
  20. we will somehow win 2/3 gauntlet games, sneak into playoffs, lose, then Pegs is fine and all coaches come back. Welcome to the 90’s Dolphins!!
  21. and that right there is the reason he should go. he simply has no clue.
  22. McD is a turnaround artist, but he’s not a guy that can win big.
  23. won’t work. he is a stubborn jerk. nothing has changed over multiple years.
  24. I thi k we mean a diff guy. Current LB coach Babich is who I keep
