I think we blow them out. For a week it will look like the offense is figured out, Allen, Kincaid, Diggs all have big games. Cook and Murray run effectively. D holds its own. 35-10.

was odd drafting a press corner in a defense that plays a lot of zone. That said, McD should have been able to use him in zone schemes or use him to play man. He also played very well in the playoffs last year. This goes down as another round 1 head scratcher. Yes we do and it's maddening. Basham right after Groot, why? Humphry sitting RIGHT THERE. It's like, "well, one of these should hit." Then get rid of Moss, who, shocker, looks good on another team with a real OL, then draft another RB.

Offense: Kincaid. He will keep the defense honest, and allow long shots to Diggs and Davis. Now, if JA can hit them in stride is another issue. Defense: Oliver. He seems to create opportunities for the DEs, who were utterly silent against the worst offense in the league. Second pick: Bernard.

Buy: McD. He's at a low now, but I expect a few more wins and people saying he's fine. Then the playoffs will hit--and I'll sell prior to then. Kind of like a day trade here. Sell: Morse. He seems cooked at this point. Get out before the bottom falls out. Hold: Dorian Williams. I think he comes on. He's adjusting to the NFL from Tulane. He looks okay positionally, just finishing the plays he gets lost.

Klien needs to be on the field as a run stopper. The RBs and OL are getting onto our smaller LBs way too easily.

Defensive “guru” McD is the bugger issue. D continually gets beat on game winning drives and is abysmal against average and bad offenses.

I’ll loose my mind if it isn’t help for the offense. Any OT/C available or WR. crap, I think you are right. Someone like Dhop or Theline may be easy for Dorsey to figure out or OL. But not a talented guy like J. Jerudy, etc.

the AFC has been weak, and we barley make the AFC final 4 the past 2 seasons, barley getting out of WC weekend. Last season to a 3rd string Dolphins QB, then getting no pressure against the Cincy 3rd string linemen, and scoring a whopping 10 points on offense. The underachievement is there. If they looked like they were playing with a system and it needed some tweaks, fine, but this team looks rudderless for 1.5 seasons.

Agreed. Pegs hiring coaches scares me. But a new OC and DC with McD still there makes me wonder how much control the DC would have. Who do we get for OC? Perhaps keep Bean on to hire the new HC?
