here are two attempts from today. Interested in any thoughts: take away here is that there should be solid CB or safety help at 30, and the DL depth continues for a few rounds. It will be very hard to get an impactful X in this draft. There is some interesting mid-round WR prospects, but none you can "pencil in." Some good backup LBs available as well.

save that money for Higgins.

Maybe we should copy the Seahawks old approach?

trade for Garrett, draft S and CBs (appears to be a deep draft for the secondary). Not sure what to do about WR1. -
what are Jones playoff numbers? I'd imagine he plays over 85% in games like those against Buffalo and the SB?

Gonzo Mock Draft Version 2.0 After Combine( Starts on Page 5)

I like this a lot, but I would take Harmon in Rd 1. -
we have zero elite talent on D. Huge problem. We also are still lacking a No 1 WR. However Bean did not have Cook out on the final drive or continue to call the futile tush push. Neither are good enough to win a championship

like this draft. Seems to fix the DL, backup LB, and adds to the WR room--although also underscores the need for Higgins or Gowin in FA. I think Horton may be a steal. Good draft. The talent really seems to be on the D side early.

I think Cosby had rape allegations, these are indecent exposure allegations.

seems like that most recent allegation they can find is from 2016--this won't go anywhere.

Humphry was the consensus #1 center along with Landon Dickerson (also a pro bowler). Basham was looked at as a huge project. Reaching for position over BPA is always a terrible idea. We also needed LB help that year. JOK was available but passed on. What do you suggest, not grading GMs on draft picks? It's all luck (then KC and Philly are REALLY lucky).

1. Lose the attitude with "save it." 2. Your wrong about KC. OC Tre Smith, Pro Bowler, taken in the 5th round in 2021. C Creed Humphrey, Pro-Bowler also in 2021. (KC needed to fix its OL, they did. We needed to fix our DL, and our GM reached for picks in the 1st and 2nd, KC took BPA and solved their issues). Oh, KC also selected their D captain Nick Bolton in 2021. Should I continue, okay: Trent McDuffie in 2022; WR Rasheed Rice, 2nd round. Also worth noting that after KC traded who was perhaps the top WR in the NFL (Tyreek Hill), rather than make excuses, they went out and won the SB. Fans like you would apparently are happy just to make the playoffs after losing a top talent. 3. This KC is All-Time great is another BS excuse. You know why they are so freaking great, they run into us in the playoffs, who are outcoached and somewhat outmanned due to McD/Bean. Good is the enemy of great. You're happy with "good."

excuse machine in overdrive today. There is a thing called trading-up. Also, there are elite players there, just ask any team with an elite QB. KC drafted Humphries (likely HOF player) in the 2nd. Bean took Basham. TJ Watt, late first round pick. Gee, oh, Lamar Jackson, late first round pick. In 2022 after we took Elam, the next three picks were pro bowl players: OT Tyler Smith, C Tyler Lindenbaum, and DE Jermaine Johnson II.

debated taking Burden at 15, but Mike Green looks like the real deal at Edge. Was happy to get Higgins in the second and Bryant in the 4th. Really hit on some 1T's who are available later in the draft, and solidified backup LB. Would have liked to get a CB and/or S, but none matched up with BPA.
