  1. yeah, schedule release is somewhat lame, IMO. But I bet if you did a poll, about 50% or more would agree with you. The salesmanship of offseason events really is amazing by the NFL.
  2. I think even if we get Garrett, we grab one in the 2nd or 3rd. VERY deep DT draft. And some of the "non starters" have elite run-stopping PFF grades can be had in 4th-6th round.
  3. a fair point, but a continuously good team that fails to reach the SB only keeps the stadium full for so long. The Steelers no longer fill their stadium, for example, and the Eagles rotate coaches. That said, we are stuck with McD another year, but another season of underachieving like the last few and he should be gone. Hopefully he adjusts the D scheme this year (signs point to that happening).
  4. Hurts made the plays when he had to make them and had some really really nice passes doing so (ex. the 2nd Eagles TD). The DL dominated and dictated the game. To me, dictating the game is the MVP. But you can't give it to an entire unit unfortunately, so Hurts wins by default.
  5. what one do you all like better: or
  6. makes you wonder what happened?
  7. D. Adams hopefully available. G. Wilson would be nice but can’t envision Jets trade him here.
  8. our blind squirrel has yet to find a nut. also, can’t count Fangio’s record with other teams.
  9. Sweat also shows up in the playoffs, unlike Greg
  10. it’s both. Von was like a sack a game pre injury here. Elite talent needed to overcome scheme
  11. Would love a trade for Garrett and Higgins in FA. Then DT’s in 2nd or 3rd and CB. An interesting later round WR is Pat Bryan from Illinois. Iowa State WR’s also are interesting, but may go rd. 2-3. Agree in WR. We really need a FA pickup here. Ideally Higgins, but even Slaton would be a great add. if we do keep 30, we likely get a CB is my guess. And hit DT and Edge in 2-3. It does look like bpa would be a dt, edge, cb combo of some sort rd 1-2. I could also see a LB sneaking in there.
  12. happy for JA. But not buying any more Bills stuff unless it's SB Champ stuff. The other stuff is redundant at this point. Might buy it for the kids to wear around in PGH.
  13. MCD: get backup DC in place. Scapegoat Babich. Blame "new scheme" for defensive failures next year.
  14. switching to a more man scheme, great, just when Elam's rookie deal is done.
  15. 2 thoughts: If they could get the Colosseum in Rome sturdy enough to hold a game, that would be amazing, With the Bills having a new stadium, hopefully/likely it's an away game that gets moved.
  16. putting the PFF simulator to its highest "random" setting makes for fun drafting.
  17. except in the playoffs and even regular season there were multiple times we relied on JA extending plays because the WRs took forever to get open
  18. I think Reed would be #1 here, however?
  19. I'd even trade up in the 2nd for him. Seems like a X who is a good route-runner. Not "elite" traits, but he gets the job done. Likely more success than Coleman, IMO.
  20. and, the Rams, while devoid of 1st, still drafted well later and completely redid their defense. So, not a huge issue what they did! get players so good that McD's awful schemes can't hold the team back.
  21. interesting the Emmanowori pick is a D- when many have us taking him in the 1st.
  22. McConkey would have been ideal. Not sure who is most similar in this draft. this would be a sneaky good pickup. Slayton also as others have suggested.
  23. here are two attempts from today. Interested in any thoughts: take away here is that there should be solid CB or safety help at 30, and the DL depth continues for a few rounds. It will be very hard to get an impactful X in this draft. There is some interesting mid-round WR prospects, but none you can "pencil in." Some good backup LBs available as well.
  24. save that money for Higgins.
