  1. Peterman def. did. He had 50 some passing yards in a blizzard. TT had 65 against the Saints on a perfect weather day. TT is DONE.
  2. who do we bring in if either TT or Peterman can't plan. Do we go into the game with Webb as the backup?!
  3. this is weak. Only needed 4 more runs for the record!!
  4. no way we beat Indy with TT. Even Webb was eventually making better downfield passes (the one to Thompson). Peterman had the only drive this season where we started at our 20 and scored a TD.
  5. Ihave defended McD but that punt is indefensible. A tie gets us out of playoffs. WTF was he olaying for with that weak move
  6. the Colts do not feature a top defense like the Charges, and have QB eaters Bosa and Ingram.
  7. not even close. The article's premise is that there is a overall lack of fan support, on the macro level. The article then cherry picks the Indy game as a lack of fan support because of the value of tickets on Stubhub. Those tickets may very well sell. I expect that north of 55K will be at the game--which is larger than Solider Field in Chicago. we are very lucky to have Pegulas as owners.
  8. ridiculous logic indeed. The Bills have a giant stadium compared to their metro area, the fact that it hasn't sold-out and/or some people don't want to freeze to watch the Bills play two sub-par teams is hardly indicative of a lack of fan support.
  9. I believe it was actually a Bills v. Colts game in 1990 v. the Indy Colts opening Day. Started a tradition of going to the first home game w/ my Dad that we have more or less followed to today.
  10. I should have waited before paying 130 for my NO tickets on a resale sight months ahead of time.
  11. not exactly a ringing endorsement to draft a 1st round WR and expect immediate payoff. Zay is outperforming these guys in many ways. good point, but Ross may be a 1 trick pony as another commenter noted. Ross needs to take this time rounding himself out as an NFL receiver.
  12. good depth later on with Vea and Bryan. Don't necessarily agree with their ordering, but decent write-up here with stats. http://walterfootball.com/draft2018DT.php
  13. I think a minor rebuild is needed. We need someone like Christen Wilkins (Clemson) the middle of the D-Line. Hughes can likely play a few more years, and k. Williams, if he returns, needs a young stud next to him. Lawson is okay...4 sacks and was stout against the run. But adding a guy like Wilkins or Payne (Bama) would be great. This draft looks to be decently deep at DT. good question. Ideally he is depth or rotational with Lawson.
  14. I hope KC keeps losing! Thanks for sharing!
  15. this sucks. an NFC game in Pittsburgh???
  16. If it's a franchise QB, then QB. If not, then OL (actually I'd go DT this year). Our OL is good enough with a proper OC for a rookie franchise QB to be successful.
  17. is Dennison still the OC in this situation? If so, blah. No different. Dennison the offense Destroyer.
  18. throwing the flag into the stands was hilarious--at least to me (albeit still a penalty and stupid depending on the game situation). Quitting on your team and walking off the field is inexcusable.
  19. that's a good point. He's likely friends with White. I'm all for getting in Gronk's grill cleanly all game long. He clearly has thin skin. Make the moron do something stupid and get ejected. Poyer did give Gronk a little bit of a shove at the end, but there were refs all over the place. I agree, a "hockey style" fight would have minimized what a total bone-head and dirty player Gronk is. Put two LB's over him and just bang him cleanly within 5 yards. Thin skinned Gronk will explode. Yes, Gronk would. I give Gronk 0 ability for critical thinking.
  20. Bring Back the Red Helmets!!!
  21. At least I still have hope that Rico will be replaced! That is the only coaching change that I feel needs to happen, IMo.
  22. I like this idea a lot. If you can't get the QB you are sold on, then trade down if possible. And a QB like Keenum or Bradford could win a ton of games if we trade down and fill the missing parts on the DL, secondary, WR, OL and backup RB.
  23. happens down in Pittsburgh. Sports Radio is becoming 1 minute of sports, 5 minutes of CPAP machines and DraftKings.
  24. this is a total joke. JuJu's block was legal, and even if not, during the course of a play attempting to make a block. And what's up with the suspension for taunting? Really. That's not an infraction that warrants suspension. On the other hand you have a giant moron running with a weapon (metal elbow pad) at a player lying face down after a play about to get up, who then elbows him full-speed and full-body weight in the head. How the NFL can give out the same suspensions for both is an utter joke that show's the NFL is more interested in the Pats**** and/or its "star players" than actually protecting its players.
  25. JuJu's hit was MUCH MUCH more defensible than Gronk's hit. It was a football play and likely legal. The after-the-play taunting made it look much worse--but then again, the guy he was taunting has a history of dirty play, and JuJu was likely happy he just blocked him to the ground. exactly. But the league is so short-sighted here. A hit like Gronk's--after the play ended--is so clearly against every rule of clean play that suspending him for the year would send the message that it will not be tolerated. The more the NFL permits hits like Gronk's by 1 game suspensions, the more of them there will likely be, in turn the league will lose fans and/or the targeted player.
