  1. With Savage and Peterman, you have a Pitt backup QB duo, plus Shady. I'd want Rosen/Mayfield if we go this route though.
  2. No. No. No. No. McCarron. or McCown.
  3. Didn't seem to impact Flutie that much. And Vick played well in Philly. And Seattle can have some nasty weather.
  4. good. now lets get Shu!
  5. I would love Rosen or Mayfield. I agree, they look day 1 ready.
  6. McCarron. Biggest upside. McCown is okay, but not exciting.
  7. love it. Can't have too many DT's in McD. D.
  8. I agree with letting the market flesh itself out. Really surprised that McCarron is not gone yet. I'd take him. More upside. With Darnold I'd want a while until he improves his mechanics. I see DL/DE's forcing fumbles all day with him.
  9. I like McCarron--could be the "next" Jimmy G., but I think we get McCown and a top QB pick.
  10. I keep hearing conflicting stuff about Rosen everywhere. I like Mayfield. He's "short," but R. Wilson, M. Vick, and D. Brees are all 6' or under. Perhaps he 'falls" to us at 12!
  11. I wanted him, but wow, way too much. Lets go get AJ (could be the next Garappalo). Then draft Mayfield. QB competition. On another note, anyone think if we end up with McKnown we draft 2 QB's (Rosen/Mayfield, then later Falk/White?).
  12. WORTH A shot on a 1-2 year "prove it" type deal.
  13. I thought he looked better in the 3-4. His "normal position" last year was underwhelming. Good point about the Steelers and Bryant in FA. We basically get a one year rental for Shaq. Not sure I like that.
  14. I think Pittsburgh would consider it. Lawson may be a better fit for their scheme. And Bryant is gone after his contract is up.
  15. I want to keep the other 1st rounder. Almost necessary to address issues on D. I'd throw in our 1st next year and #12, plus 65. Then 56 if necessary.
  16. I like keeping L. Johnson, but I'd draft a guy earlier if possible. Davis only here 1 year. I'd still be in on Gaines if the market comes back.
  17. Reid is the only guy who could likely use Sammy.
  18. I wanted Allen Robinson, but he likely is breaking the bank and last had a good season 2 years ago. I also wouldn't rule out Montcrief coming here. I disagree about the position in the draft. I think there are some steals here: Gallup, Kirk, Atteman, Chark and Hamilton in the 2-3rd rounds; then even later you have guys like ST. Browne and Simmie Cobbs, Jr.
  19. hummmm.....I think if we want a multi-year bench warmer I'd go for Mike White or L. Falk over Allen. Then use our 1st round picks to solidify the D.
  20. I like this, actually. One less team trying to get who I would consider a more solid deep threat in J. Brown from the Cards, or, drafting Chark!!! you watch more Seattle football than me, which is only when they are on national TV, but does he seem to "disappear" for large chunks of games or even entire games?
  21. Vonte Davis!!!! (although we had TT then). I think the FO has a plan that they will share with FA. But if not, your point is well-taken.
  22. I've heard that too. I keep hearing stuff like this, and other stuff like, "he isn't that into football," or that "his teammates don't like him." If we get Rosen, I'd like to grab the OT from UCLA in the 2nd or 3rd. That guy said Rosen is a good guy. I just prefer Mayfield due to the strange info everywhere about Rosen. And the concussions do scare me. Bradford! Given that Keenum and Cousins are now gone. Or McCarren potentially.
  23. interesting. Bradford, Moore, Rookie and Peterman. Peterman to PS?
  24. hopefully longer than day 2. Just wrap him in bubble wrap for the preseason, etc. Get a guy like Rosen or Mayfield, they are likely ready by mid-season anyway.
  25. Totally agree. Get Mayfield to learn from Bradford, or Rosen. Or as a second option, draft Mike White, L.Jackson or L. Falk in the 2nd and make the D ridiculous with the 12th and 22nd pick.
