RyanC883 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
huh. same people making different picks? is this at different times? -
Yeah I would worry now about the $5K
RyanC883 replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if you are betting an amount of money that is "devastating" for you to lose, you really need to get professional help. https://www.ncpgambling.org/help-treatment/national-helpline-1-800-522-4700/ (just found by quick google search) -
Russ Bodine made a huge difference
RyanC883 replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Bodine can't play next week, we need to bring in a center to challenge Groy. In fact, we should do that anyway. -
I was thinking the same thing. I knew he was athletic like the TD run demonstrated, but jumping like that. wow.

I know some people believe this, but it's not true. The Steelers have reloaded a ton of talent over the past 10 years with We had the drought because of terrible drafting by the prior regime: 2009: 11th picK: Maybin instead of Orakpo; 2010: 9th pick: CJ Spiller instead of Earl Thomas; or D. Morgan, or M. Pouncey 2011: 3rd pick Dearus. That one was okay. But JJ Watt would be better. 2012: 12th pick: Gillmore. A good pick, and a pick a 6-10 team can get. 2013: 16th pick: EJ Manual. Xavier Rhodes, Eric Reed, DeAndre Hopkins, and Travis Fredrick all 1st rounders taken later. 2014: 4th Pick: Sammy Watkins. Yeah, K. Mack would be a much better pick. or A. Donald, taken at 13; or Ryan Schazier taken at 15. 2015: No 1st round pick. Some names available around 10: Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon, etc. I'll stop there, but you get the point. There is a lot of talent around where a 6-10 team can draft. You just have to make the right picks.

Are We The Worst Bills Fans Since The Polian Years?
RyanC883 replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
just like teams that are getting better need to "learn how to win," Bills fans will need to learn how to win. -
Shady and the Running Backs moving forward
RyanC883 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love this idea. Also, Shady has better hands than most of our WR's and TE's. Our O-line is not good for a back like Shady, so get him in space and use him more lined-up wide. 15 targets a game. -
I don't mind the TD run, but hurdling was needed against Minn at that point. Likely never again unless a huge game. Although I want to see Allen throw as much, but have some WR's and Clay make catches that receivers on other teams make for their QB's. This is a clear message to Barr. Sign with the Bills in the off-season or have Allen embarrass you!

Inexcusable really that GB and LAC have both wasted really really good QB play with terrible D's for most of Rodgers/Rivers tenures. here is one from the running world: https://www.runnersworld.com/health-injuries/a20864073/how-to-cure-quad-pain-calf-pain-and-heavy-legs/

Did Anyone Watch The Game At The 716?
RyanC883 replied to Buffaloflash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
your friends are lame. I have friends like that. I hope you were texting them all game about how they suck as fans! -
same here!

would love to see inside pics. Plane is awesome. And as someone else said, getting rare to see!!

I think that stupid roughing call combined with the incomplete pass that was called a fumble got to him. The officials were questionable for a 2nd straight week. Again not outcome determinative, but really, the incomplete pass was some basic stuff they screwed up twice.

I Bet $5,000 on Minnesota. Should I Be Worried?
RyanC883 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
how does the "hedge the bet" by betting on the Bills work. So he puts 5K on the Bills. Wins. Then uses that money to pay off the loss from the other bet? Makes sense. -

RyanC883 replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
oh man. I'd get professional help if you have an addiction. 17 pts is a lot. i don't gamble, but perhaps someone who does can suggest something to help you break-even in the event you don't win the 5K bet. -
Pitts stepping up would be huge. I guess the coaches believe he will.

This Year's Bears = Next Year's Bills?
RyanC883 replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, the draft gets us a pass rusher (not hard to fathom), the Head Coach does not need to be an offensive minded savant if our OC is one (jury out on that), and finding one or two OL and some WR's is not out of the realm. . -
If you are at work, your employer has the right to control your behavior, publicly funded space or not. Public funding has nothing to do with it. It's simply not a Constitutional Right to kneel during an NFL game. period. Employer policy also does not implicate Constitutional Rights. If an employer wants to fire you for it, the employer has every right to do so. An employer could also say, "I hate that shirt, your fired," despite not having a policy against shirts your boss does not like. I think Hyde has some experience at CB?

not a Constitutional Right to kneel during an NFL game. You have a Constitutional Right to kneel in public on your own time, and you also have a Constitutional Right to burn a flag. But try doing that at work. that said, I'd bring him in if he can help. He's not the attention-talent-less clown that Kap is.

This Year's Bears = Next Year's Bills?
RyanC883 replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
next year, easy. The D improves with Edmunds having gone through his rookie year, our pass rush improves with Bosa or Oliver and a FA, and the secondary also improves with FA. The O-line improves via draft and perhaps one FA, and we acquire Coleman, Bell, or a rookie RB. -
Bills Make National Headlines Consistently
RyanC883 replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jordan clearly wasn't playing WR during his time here, now we know what he was doing!
