  1. It's like he (a) does not care, or (b) is stupid. That interception is something that you should not be doing in HS, College, and he is doing it REPEATEDLY in the NFL. MCD needs to tell him that he does it again, he is sitting the next drive. and the coach should say, "you deviate again, your going to deviate to the bench the next drive." Pretty arrogant to be deviating from the coaching to heave the ball into the middle of the field when your not close to an all-pro.
  2. Darnold is awful also. But who was better yesterday. Nice red herring response, btw. Look, a QB who is worse. You're scrapping the bottom when you take Darnold or any Jets QB to make yourself feel better about your QB situation.
  3. I think you get a C in FA. We need a veteran Center for Allen. I also think we need a TE upgrade. Get Jesse James from PIT. I'd get the WR in the 2nd round after taking BPA in the 1st. One of the Brown's (Old Miss or Oklahoma) should be available in early 2nd round. Both good hands and speed. Then try covering Brown, Foster, Zay and McKenzie. If Allen has time, 2 of them should always be open. We also need a RB.
  4. The excuses for Allen, who has NEVER had a good completion percentage are getting classic. "Dropped passes." Guess who else has WR's that drop passes: Every QB in the NFL! The O-line is terrible, but that does not make him heave the ball into the middle of the field for an easy INT instead of throwing it out of bounds. It also does not make him have horrid ball placement on the final throw. Contrast that to Darnold's ball placement to Anderson over one of the best CB's in the NFL (White). A 44.4 QBR is terrible. A 50ish completion percentage is exactly around where he was in college. He lacks touch on the intermedia passes. If I'm the Bills, I'm getting a QB in FA. (Bridgewater). Can Allen improve with a better OL and another WR, perhaps. But Allen flat-out missed wide-open WR's yesterday, and rifled passes incomplete that most QB's with a bit of touch make. except he keeps repeating the same mistakes. Still no touch on the ball, still heaving it into the middle of the field, which I'm sure he has been told NOT to do since HS. Taking ownership is great, actually improving is better.
  5. that's true. Much better officiating than last game--which was the worst than I've seen in a long time.
  6. not White's fault that Darnold had all day. No CB can cover a WR all day, esp. a fast one like Anderson. And White had perfect positioning on him.
  7. I think you can find impact WR in later rounds (generally). If Bosa is there, you take him over anyone. I think Brown from Old Miss or Oklahoma will be around in the late 1 (trade back in) or early 2nd. Jesse James (TE) would be a great FA acquisition.
  8. that. And Williams looking old. Add to it that Darnold had no RB help, you NEED to blitz him. Esp. when you have a good secondary.
  9. we def need offense in the draft. But I'm thinking we fill some of that in FA (WR, C). We also need pass rushers that can play on a weekly basis and are not continually contemplating retirement.
  10. depends, how many more times can we throw it to Clay. And Zay looked like last year today.
  11. looked terrible. injury even worse it seems given it was the second to last defensive play of the game.
  12. need new ST coach. and why are we trying a 54 yard FG with an injured kicker?
  13. why does the Bills twitter feed have a picture of Bills players celebrating after getting beat? Just seems odd.
  14. he won the game because he had all day to pass. Your playing a rookie QB with no RB (same as the Jets). The Jets rushed Allen, the Bills sat back. You give Darnold all day, he will beat you.
  15. I'm souring on Frazier. It's clear this front 4 can't bring pressure. They are showing their age. At least we can get a good pass rusher in the draft.
  16. yep. But that pass to Jones was AWFUL. He needs to learn how to play in the chaos, because teams will bring the rush until he can. throw it away if you have to, not into the field like he did in the 1st half for an INT.
  17. no pass rush on a interception prone rookie QB is inexcusable. The DL is OLD. You draft BPA. If it's a pass-rusher, great.
  18. he had another ball bouncing off his hands play. Killed a drive in the 1st half.
  19. nice plays by Foster in the intermediate routes. Too bad Allen is still horribly inaccurate.
  20. our defense was terrible today. no pass rush AT ALL. They are old, and it showed. Darnold had ALL DAY
  21. I'd add TE Jessee James, then I think we have a successful FA class.
  22. Can Josh Allen continue to ascend? Yes Is this the end for McCoy and Clay? the end for McCoy as RB1, end for Clay with Bills Which receivers will step up? Zay will continue to ascend, Foster will step-up. Not seeing anyone else really stepping up. McCoy as WR? Is Levi Wallace a starting cornerback? Yes. Is the offensive line salvageable? hahah. No. Dawkins is the only starting caliber player. Teller might be. Need to use all the other "starters" as backups next year, including Bodine.
  23. I hope KB is okay mentally and physically, but I can't root for him to succeed. He put forth ZERO EFFORT HERE@
  24. I could image a play or two when Barkley comes in, Allen is in the backfield with Shady, Foster and Zay are out wide, and Jets burn a timeout. If we run the play, either handoff to Allen, or get Allen the ball and he can either run or throw to Foster/Zay.
