Bills Security Blanket at Back Up QB Position !!
RyanC883 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not a bad topic, but the return would have to be amazing. Like one of their backup QB's plus a 2nd or 1st. Otherwise, you keep that security blanket. Esp. with a QB like Allen who likes to run. -
Jadeveon Clowney could miss regular-season games
RyanC883 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trent Williams for Clowney makes scene in a trade with Washington. Don't like seeing Jets listed there. -
Cant stand Aaron Rodgers.
RyanC883 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rodgers does come across as an idiot. He masks it to some extent by engaging in a word-salad composed of fancy words. The issue with Luck is that he decided 2 weeks before the regular season after thinking about it for 10 days. A much better approach would be to go on IR, then retire if you don't feel better. https://www.foxnews.com/sports/andrew-luck-retirement-decision-under-fire Steve Berlin has a good take on it, and this approach. Luck came across as, "well, this hurts, I don't really care about football, the team, or anything else." Regardless of whether he intended it, that was the impression he gave. For someone who is allegedly a genius, he totally botched his retirement by not anticipating the fan reaction. -
If Bills Games Become Too Expensive, Will You Switch Teams?
RyanC883 replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no, and one of the fallacies here is that a lack of tailgating will equate to having to buy overpriced and bad stadium food. Likely, numerous bars and restaurants will surround the area (they do here in Pittsburgh) and offer low cost (and better) alternatives to the stadium. -
Is anybody else having anxiety about game one?
RyanC883 replied to billsredneck1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Beasley and Sweeney/TE put on a show in week 1. We might go with a quick, short rhythm passing game to defeat the pass rush and exploit their LB's. -
draft him. The rushing yards give you a high ceiling. Take the Colts QB as a backup. Load up at WR and RB, etc. DO IT. I plan on drafting him in my 2 QB league, and perhaps in my one QB league also.

How many of the 53 on opening day aren’t on the team today?
RyanC883 replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2: Punter, and a pass rusher who gets cut, or Clowney!!! Also, Perhaps a RB. We don't have any. -
Belichick said today he didn’t know Luck retired
RyanC883 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
he could of trolled the media like usual, but the, "I don't pay that much attention to them," was a disrespectful jab. They were picked by some to be AFC contenders with Luck. -
Notable league Cut Tracker and discussion
RyanC883 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not good. I bet Houston grabs him. Lessens ability to trade RB for Clowney. Although our RB's (all 10 of them) better than Martin at this point. -
Foster has toe injury, explains slow pre-season

IR Foster, Zay may be trade bait to Houston. -
The Bills need to keep Duke Williams
RyanC883 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't get what's going on with Foster. He was lighting it up last year. Perhaps he performs in games and not practice and isn't seeing the field. -
Lucks retirement and Miller injury news effects Bills
RyanC883 replied to Tatonka68's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Duke Johnson may be better than Miller, and my guess is Houston picks up a roster cut RB. Perhaps we can trade one of our 10 backup RB's for a 7th. -
Peterman leads Raiders to victory!
RyanC883 replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Name the leading rushers who have been cut? Also, QB way more valuable than RB. You manage the QB position different than others. Seems like NFL coaches agree with me on this one -
Peterman leads Raiders to victory!
RyanC883 replied to BobbyC81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not that he needs to be babied. He performed above-average in preseason. If he can replicate this in the regular season, you have a capable backup QB. A capable backup QB is very important. It's not "babying him" but managing an asset to get the most of out it. I don't get how some people can't grasp that -

Reminder; we’re on national TV tonight! PreGame Thread
RyanC883 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
thanks for the reminder. Totally forgot we are on tonight!! I've been out of the Country for the first 2. Can't wait to see this one. But if Allen sucks, I expect Pegs to send me back out of the country. I'll have to figure out how to contact him of course.... -

100% this. Take the pressure off him by putting him in at the end of games. In fact, I'd do this regardless of who my backup is to give that guy game experience in case something happens to the starter. But esp. with Peterman. He's a legit NFL backup based on preseason work, then in games, he becomes panick-man.
