who was the guy we had, in the secondary, a few years ago pointing at the other player while the other team scored a TD? He basically gave up on the play.... that was a signature move right there.

unless you are the NYJ's, or Oakland Raiders. They would overpay for a RB. There is always someone who will! Watching Bell get hammered this year will be satisfying. The Steelers line is the reason he was able to do his dance step, then forward move. May not have that time in NYJ. And won't have it when Oliver is coming for you! Same with Zeke. Dude has a great OL. Gordon, on the other hand, usually has a suspect OL. What would he look like behind a good OL.

its treatable, generally with blood thinners, which create issues in a contact sport like football. could lead to uncontrollable bleeding, I think. I'm not a Dr, however.

I think their backup Eckler performed decently last year. Gordon may have little leverage. Wonder what LAC would give for Shady, Gore, or Yeldon? I could see LAC going after Duke Johnson if Gordon holds out. Although the Browns likely don't want to trade him to someone they view as a possible playoff opponent. Ture, but that is an improving OL. I'd imagine Ekeler looks better this year. Pair Ekeler with Johnson, Shady, or Yeldon and you have basically what you have with Gordon. Perhaps even better due to injury bug that hits Gordon.

I like our chances with either guy. Might actually be easier to play Eli. Lots of tape on him. -
another interesting point is that many drown in the water because swimming was not as universally taught in the US as it is today. Many did not know how to swim. Also the Navy and Air Force had a difficult time clearing the German guns from the beach where the landing took place. The Navy actually had a battle of its own: https://www.usni.org/magazines/naval-history-magazine/2004/june/gallant-destroyers-d-day

Fouts or Rivers? Young or Montana?
RyanC883 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rivers and Montana. -
We should honor the men who fought that day (and others preceding and following in that great conflict) by enjoying the liberty they sacrificed to give us. Here is a quote from a news article I recently read: Helen Patton, a granddaughter of famed American tank commander Gen. George S. Patton Jr., is back in Normandy for the 75th anniversary with a message that younger generations should enjoy the liberties so many soldiers fought and died for. Presiding Monday at a game of American football played close to the landing beaches, she quoted from a poem written by her grandfather during World War I to convey the idea that part of honoring those sacrifices is relishing life: "When I sit in my tank and wait for the hour for the great barrage to come down, I wish to god there was one more day for raising hell in town."

This was sent out yesterday at 4:54 pm EST by a Judge in the Federal Court for the Western District of PA. It's well written: "Dear Colleagues, At this hour 75 years ago, 2245 hours British Double Summer Time, June 5, 1944, the paratroopers of the American 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, along with the their British and Canadian comrades in arms, began to lift off from air bases in England to serve as the "pathfinders" for the D-Day invasion. They were soon followed by other Airborne troops in unarmed gliders. Knowing of the toll that they would soon endure, General Eisenhower personally visited with them as they prepared to board the C-47 cargo planes that would deliver them to France. These men (and back then they were all men) were almost all 20 years old or younger, and were tasked with dropping behind enemy lines on the Normandy peninsula, in the middle of the night, to secure the landing zones and to open pathways inland for the tens of thousands of troops that would soon land by sea. They sustained extensive casualties. They would become the first soldiers to land in occupied France to begin the battle that would free that country and the world from the grip of tyranny. We are all the fortunate beneficiaries of their bravery and sacrifice in that Great Crusade, and now, 75 years later, the very last of them are fading from our view. I would urge all of us, in our own way, to take a moment away from our vital work on behalf of the Nation to reflect on their service to the cause of freedom."

Who is Your Favorite New Player to This Point ?
RyanC883 replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Draft Picks: Ed Oliver, Knox and Cody Ford. I love Oliver and Ford because for the 2nd straight season, we got 2 first round talents with our top 2 picks, IMO. Knox looks like he could be a long-time starter. FA's, I love the addition of J. Brown and Beasly, who I both think will contribute right away. Morse is a huge addition, who will be a great help to blocking schemes and J. Allen's development. -

Where will free agent Gerald McCoy sign?
RyanC883 replied to Florida Bills Fanatic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Indy should be all over him. They are very close to winning the AFC and perhaps SB. That said, I'd take McCoy here. Would love to have the problem of "too many" good players at DT. -

I'd like Delpit. But I doubt we trade up from 32 to grab him.
