  1. I think Bates is the consensus on here. ? No ideal backup T’s, although Bates likely better than McDermott.
  2. So, what will it take to get Diggs??
  3. exactly. and it still puzzles me we did not draft him. Brees and others (including Flutie when on Bills) had already proven that with the other stuff height wont hold you back.
  4. what's the tiebreaker if they both go 0-16??
  5. I like the secrecy. Make Tenn prepare for everything. I think they hold Singletary out with the bye upcoming to make sure he is 100% all year.
  6. uh. I hope not. Likely if Allen is not cleared. Really want Williams! Perhaps Webb this week and Williams post bye.
  7. who is going to take the roster spot?? Williams time?! b
  8. Only one Buffalo Bill. Not Ed Oliver. Dawson Knox, at #13. Knox deserves it, but Oliver should be on the list, IMO. And I have a feeling Singletary would be there but for the injury.
  9. great topic! and for those who say "played in college," let us know where. Anywhere is impressive! I played in middle school, had # 82 for Don Beebe. Then did cross country and track in HS. Sometimes wish I continued football.
  10. Trent Williams please. It's hard to find a guy with that skillset. I'm not sold on AJ Green being a WR answer. He may take a few games to get back into shape. Depends on the trade I suppose. Von Miller is interesting, but he's been blanked mostly this year?
  11. the current mix is okay, but once Singletary returns I think we run more. Would also love to see some long ball connect (what happened to the accuracy there. Some WR's have had TD's with a more accurate ball). Also, more Knox and Sweeney on short routes. That's as good as a running play as well.
  12. how about a goalline RB? We could use one of those!
  13. Allen to me has improved and regressed: Improved: staying in the pocket, making short to intermediate throws. Regressed: Staying in pocket too long, taking bad sacks, not throwing the ball away. Also regressed, accuracy on the long ball, and staring down his WR in both intermediate and long routes. If he can fix his regression and continue to work on what he's improved upon, we will be very hard to defend.
  14. I'd take Von Miller. Sanders appears washed-up at this point. ? Although the Den QB situation is a disaster.
  15. I think if Barkley is the starter this weekend, we see some 2 TE sets with Knox and Sweeney. Would love that. Great picks. Knox has been amazing. He catches like a WR1, and is hard to tackle. not sure why Sweeney isn't in there over Lee. I'd have Sweeney and Knox!
  16. My outrage is how much of a pompous A** Brady is. Basically saying that Allen should run smarter, and blaming the injury on Allen. Hey Brady, STFU. Anytime a defender gets near you it's 15 yards. Your O-line holds and isn't called. You're a sissy, and if you ever got hit like Allen did would throw the biggest temper tantrum ever. And the guy who hit you would be suspended for multiple games. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27735840/brady-allen-hit-risks-involved-running
  17. He has done this in several games. Which is nice to see, halftime adjustments from your QB and OC. He needs to play a complete 60 minutes. I understand "getting in a rhythm," but perhaps you can do that without throwing 3 INT's and overthrowing wide-open WR's deep and under-throwing open WR's on shallow routes.
  18. Gruden O'Brien likely at end of season.
  19. I want the best pass rushing DE in the 1st round, even if it's a trade up. I'd go LT in FA. We have the money, and Williams could solidify this line. WR in the 2nd round. (appears to be more depth here than at DE?)
  20. I think this could be similar to the Bengals game. The Titans have a great D, but a somewhat inept offense. We need to push the ball down the field all game (not a 1/2 of game offense), and get to Mariota. Pressure him into bad throws. A few sacks would be nice also.
  21. Crowd not loud enough? I don't think Allen sulks, I think his head is down....looking at the tablet like all QB's do. Calling in on a way to a sisters funeral. Well, we are not the only fanbase with people that insane, but that's insane.
  22. another "moral victory," and more "next year we will surpass the Pats***." The team lost because they made really stupid mistakes at key times. The blocked punt that should never have happened had the punter or McD noticed the max pressure coming. The Allen INT's, and sacks out of FG range after holding onto the ball wayyyyy too long. Take those away, we win.
  23. How many did Allen cost us with his boneheaded plays? In fact, Barkley could have led a drive for 3 points, but we needed a TD because Allen knocked us out of FG range two times. Oh, we also lost by 6. Clearly Allen will be the better QB, but some fans on here think any critique of Allen is unwarranted, and that Barkely is terrible. Both of which are untrue.
  24. he had some great run blocking yesterday coupled with great running.
  25. he led with his helmet, Allen was already being tackled. This gets any other player ejected. Hyde and Poyer are correct on this point. Intent (and I think he had it) is beside the point. That was a play that should result in ejection and a suspension. this would make sense, if the Pats** were also not a perpetual cheating and dirty team. Refs are also, or should be, taught to avoid this type of perceptual bias. They are professional refs, not "common people" making on the fly decisions.
