  1. dude is having arguably a better year than Aaron Donald. Yes, extend him ASAP. He could be the next Lorenzo Alexander find.
  2. with decent play calling the Falcons beat NE.
  3. I've never understood this, and it seems to come from the old-school coaching mentality. It's a total cut the nose off to spite the face move. Esp. when you HURT the team by sitting the better player. Unless you have a moron in there, any player who fumbles does not need to sit and think about "gee, I can't do that again" to get it.
  4. true, but doesn't seem very process oriented. Should be playing the best players. That would be Sweeney and Duke over Kroft.
  5. same here. We all want the Bills to win. Allen played very well today, but I'm not saying I've seen much improvement in year 2. More games like this against better opponents will change my mind, and I hope they happen!
  6. this is spot on. If Garrett does not go so crazy that he made Burfect look like gentleman of the year, no one is even talking about Rudolph's unsportsmanlike penalty here.
  7. Wrong. Garrett's reaction is what led to the brawl. What Rudolph did in reaction to Garrett's late his is a common post-scuffle 15 yard penalty, fine at most. Garrett is the one who escalated the situation.
  8. Again, Rudolph didn't get "nothing." He likely gets a fine, which is the standard (at most) for a common post-whistle scuffle. Saying, "That QB provoked me" is totally inexcusable for what Garrett did. If Garrett does not implode, Rudolph gets nothing, just a 15 yard penalty. Why should he get more because Garrett reacted inappropriately. ?
  9. clearly you didn't read the NFL letter. It said others would be disciplined. Rudolph will likely get a fine.
  10. Garrett's suspension sounds right. Pouncy's is way too long. 1 game is likely what happens here, esp. with current and former players agreeing with his actions, although the kicking the head, I'm fine with 3 games. But I see it getting reduced to 1. The guy who shoved Rudolph after Garrett assaulted Rudolph should have received 3 games. He blindside shoved him. Rudolph was not even engaged with him or anyone at that point.

  12. Garrett will be gone for the season. I don't think this would have happened originally, but the number of current and former NFL players publicly stating that he should be gone for the season will give the NFL a huge black eye should they do anything less. Pouncy likely gets 1 game. Most current and former NFL players were in agreement that they would have done something similar. Not a good look though. Rudolph getting suspended is ridiculous. (1) he didn't "start it," (2) the shoving between him and Garrett was the usual 15 yard post-whistle stuff until Garrett escalated it.
  13. trade for Myles Garrett. I kid. Really, we need to draft or go after game-changing pass rushers in the off-season.
  14. Damiem Williams is REALLY REALLY upset.
  15. wow, Browns fans are insane---not in a good way. No wonder Baker had to scold them for being too loud when the offense is on the field.
  16. What Rudolph did was normal after-the whistle 15 yard stuff, not suspension material. perhaps a fine at the very most. Everyone should pause and ask: what if Garrett did this to Brady.
  17. wonder if the guy who shoved Mason to the ground gets suspended as well. His excuses are ridiculous.
  18. unfortunately I think your right. Wow, but former NFL players saying he should be gone for the rest of the season, so perhaps it happens. Keyshawn Johnson is pissed.
  19. Can someone on the Browns stop Garrett from talking. He's not helping himself.
  20. Garrett not even saying if Rudolph said something to him. Which, really, if your a defensive player, you let a QB get to you like that.
  21. When NFL teams have players like this with temper issues, don't they have therapists or something they can see??
  22. "I'm not smart enough....just say what you are asking."
  23. Kitchens is pissed at Garrett, as he should be. Someone just asked him if Garrett was provoked, and he's like, "there is no excuse....."
  24. from Sports Center it sounds like the refs let the game get out of hand also with headshots, etc.
