More proof the league is rigged for the Pats****

the TWO horribly called tripping calls were bizarre indeed. -
you need both ideally. I think McD and Bean got Oliver to solve pass rushing, but that seems like its taking longer than expected. We need a DE rusher next year and I bet Oliver is better with another year in NFL and not at Houston.

this is why we need a great pass rusher next year.

Steelers game is key to Bills making the playoffs
RyanC883 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dallas should win the game for sure. If we win, I will feel much much better about the Bills, and I already feel good. It's just hard to play at Dallas on Thanksgiving when they just lost a game they should have won. That said, I can see us winning it if we commit to the run game again (keep Dallas O off field) and have Allen hit nice timing routed. On D, Milano and Edmunds must have good games. -
Against the #4 Defense Yesterday (#8 After Our W)

actually using Motor made the offense much better and more balanced. Finally it seemed like the right plays were called at the right time, and the execution was much better as a result. -
Predict the Bills record in the last three tough games
RyanC883 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Steelers are looking line a W now. The other games look tough. The Jets are much improved, and the Cowboys should have beaten the Pats but for a blocked punt and terrible 3rd down play-calling. The Ravens of course are tough. No one we cant beat, but I’m guessing 2 more wins and making playoffs. If we beat Cowboys I may be even more optimistic. -
I know, we are running the ball well. It's 3rd and 3, lets pass it, over and over and over again. End of game, 3rd and 1, lets pass it in 2 down territory. WTF was going on with that play-calling!. I've always wondered why Cowboys fans are hard on Garrett, this must be why. Total boneheaded play-calling multiple times.

My 5 favorite things about today's game
RyanC883 replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm mixed feelings about this. His sacks were both unblocked. And DL gets them. Not sure how he looked otherwise, but he likely gets overpaid by another team, unfortunately. That said, we have the cap space to get a bona fide pass rusher. -
who is likely defensive rookie of the year candidate? I have no idea. As for Ed, he's produced less than I would like, but he's basically had 2+ years off by playing at Houston. He seems to be acclimating to the NFL. If he has this level of production next year I'll be worried. And I'd extend Phillips now. Dude is a beast.

Bills @ Cowboys, Thanksgiving Day - 4:30
RyanC883 replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
should be a great game. Hopefully the Cowboys continue to attempt to throw in on 3rd and short. wtf was up with that tonight?? -
It's really a terrible play from Garrett, IMO. It's demonstrably false given that it was just stated now, and none of the Steeler's players, including Pouncy, back this up. You think Pouncy goes as bizzark on Garrett if Rudolph used a racial slur? Nope. I hope the NFL ADDS to Garrett's suspension for making up such a serious accusation.

I think Ford plays Guard next season. Right now, he's what we have. Will be interesting to see what help they give him against Miller. I'd try Bates at RT also. That, or a draft pick/FA could be the solution.

John Brown is leading the AFC in receiving
RyanC883 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brown has been a stud. Esp. considering that he is likely drawing significant coverage from the other teams secondary. -
Did anyone else notice how chippy and chatty Miami's D was?
RyanC883 replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
prob a good theory. But I'd imagine this has happened to Singletary since HS and it's unlikely to effect him. this is a very good point. They seem to be playing better as the season goes on. Flores has done a good job with a team that is missing talent in key areas. -
the Dolphins moved the ball last week. I see Sutton having a game comparable to Parker. Denver has 2 good RB's. Philly moved the ball on us all day with 2 good RB's. I don't think the offense can be taken lightly. But I think we agree, the Bills show up in Q1, we'll be fine. if we don't take care of the ball, that D could give their O short fields to work with. They have enough on O to put up points, esp. with a short field. I still think we win, but it won't be a blowout.

Well, everything is arguable, technically :). Even so, his stats this year and disruption on a worse line than Donald have been impressive. 2nd most sacks for a DT (1 behind Donald). And Phillips I would imagine has seen fewer plays than Donald. Not saying he's Donald, but the guy is a legit top 10 DT. http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=SACKS&conference=null&season=2019&seasonType=REG

I think we can't afford to start out slow. Minny has the O to make up a huge deficit. We don't have that type of O. If we play our top game all game, we get a close win. Denver will move the ball, we need to prevent TD's and FG. Special teams is likely important to pin them back and let the D pressure a young QB.

very impressive given that we have no big WR, and a 2nd year QB. Many on that list have pro-bowl QB's. Get a big athletic WR to pair with Brown and Beasly and the whole passing offense should improve. Brown also had great tracking on the TD yesterday where the ball was tipped and he still caught it.
