  1. just. wow. i still don’t get this. How can they pay Cooper, Dak and Elliott?
  2. seems expensive for a backup type? I think we still are looking for the 3rd starting LB in the 2nd round perhaps, or in FA. Still have the money.
  3. wow. that is just crazy
  4. With Diggs salary this does not prevent Bills from getting a top DE also in FA.
  5. I think Knox can be a beast. But pairing him with Hooper would have been amazing. And Hooper was the best receiver FA IMO.
  6. only one I am upset about missing out on is Hooper at 11 mill a year. Seemed reasonable and gives Baker a great WR.
  7. I don't get those either. I get the hand sanitizer, but TP and bottled water. It's not like the faucets will stop working and they won't let you buy more TP online or in a store. my safe room is now complete:
  8. we may find out when one of them signs here.
  9. really suprised we didn't match that. That's not outlandish, esp. given he played 1/2 snaps with 6.5 sacks. not sure what great pass-rushers/DE's are avaialble in FA. And the draft does not look great. The top guy Chassion from LSU has no numbers to back up his athletic ability (looks like the guy from Michigan who went high last year). And the others look like 2nd rounders who will go in the 1st (Gross-Matos, Epenesa). I guess Baun at LB is possible. they have proven to be trustworthy. Wondering what the replacement strategy is, however.
  10. this is a great get for Chicago. Teddy B has been fantastic as a starter, and started in that division. One less potential place for Brady now.
  11. I will trade Singletary and a 4th. Or Yeldon and a 2nd.
  12. well, this takes the colts out of drafting an OT, most likely. perhaps a top 5 OT falls to us. Can't hurt to grab one. then trade up in 2nd for Mimms, etc.
  13. t's likely (thankfully) to not be 3%. Here is something from Harvard. https://slate.com/technology/2020/03/coronavirus-mortality-rate-lower-than-we-think.html That said, one death is too many, and curve flattening is a great idea. Panic, no. Cancelling things like the draft that can be done entirely remotely: also not a great idea. Cancelling actual sporting events: good idea. Going to bars: bad idea. Ordering delivery: a good idea to help restaurants and their employees. Keep your heads on, get facts, keep your distance, but don't hide in a room full of toilet paper like some people appear to be doing.
  14. I like both the ones you proposed. Here are some other LB FA's: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/linebacker/ this is also a great site to visit to keep up to date on signings, etc. You can also rank them by sacks, or whatever metric you prefer! yeah, that mad guy is nonsensical. I'd imagine most airplanes are vacant. If you stay 6 feet away from a contaminated person, you won't get it. It spreads by droplets, not air. so airplane filter systems will capture it.
  15. perhaps prevents Balt from getting the Browns LB that we want, or Yannik--assuming the Jags let him go eventually. Or Armstead, etc. Or Littleton, LB Rams!
  16. would love to get this guy. but if not, there are other FA LB's out there.
  17. I'd def take this over Cooper.
  18. good point. Personally, I'm missing college Lax. This SU team looked awesome this year, and being in Pittsburgh, no one really talks about college lax (my son just got into it). Bummer, but more important things like health.
  19. totally agree. We have a lot of key people on rookie contracts. Need to upgrade receiving (that's why I would target Hooper in FA) and our pass rush (another DT or preferably Edge) and replace Alexander at LB (I'd go w/ a vet and have competition for Joseph)
  20. I really love this. Dude lets up ZERO sacks. Other OL love him, esp. Dawkins. This does not prevent Bean from kicking Ford to guard. Bean and McD will play the best guys. If an OT falls to us, Ford and the other OG better be ready for competition. Depth at the OL is very very very important.
  21. it is the time to go for it. QB on a rookie contract. Stud CB, LB, and DT on rookie contracts. No reason not to add the proper veterans NOW (only if they are the right ones) and go for it. I'd like to see Hooper and a veteran Edge (if possible) added. Keeping Spain was another big win. wouldn't oppose that either. He seems like the total package. Speed, hands, tough.
  22. Perhaps he goes to NO on the cheap.
  23. hopefully this does not mean we won’t go after Hooper. He is the best FA receiver out there IMO.
  24. Thanks! I had no clue. But, don't blame me. Blame my kids bedtime, and the fact I didn't really care who won, so my concentration was not great.
