Headlines You'd Like To See Saturday Evening

Bills win Big! Bryan Hoyer finishes game after Brady pulled following 3 sacks and 2 INTs returned for TD's. Allen puts up 300 yards, crashing Bills Mafia fansite twobillsdrive. -
Daboll and ST have been saving something.

NFL 100 Wide Receiver list
RyanC883 replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have found this whole NFL 100 list to be a complete waste of time and an NFL gimmick. There is simply no way to compare players from the 50's to players from today. The game is vastly different. All decade teams, okay. But an all-time 100 team. Impossible. -
How Much Confidence do you have in Miami?

The Dolphins and Pats********** have split their series 1-1 for the lats couple of years. I have a lot of confidence. -
Bills better be scouting “hands catchers” at WR

Oh, Pittman looks nice also. We need a guy with good hands and the ability to adjust to somewhat inaccurate throws. -
Bills better be scouting “hands catchers” at WR

I can see the Bills liking this guy. Will he be available late 1st or 2nd (if Edge in 1st) -
both very good. DiBellas wins by a slim margin.

I think we have to get a pass-rushing Edge in FA if possible. The top 3 in the draft may not fall to us (Young--OSU; Epenese--LSU; and Gross Matos--PSU) are likely all gone before we pick. Meaning we won't have to "reach" for an Edge, or trade up. If we grab one in FA and one of these guys is available in the draft, even better. dude, today is Thursday. Sorry for the info. Sucks when you think it's Friday but it's Thursday.

even w/o winning the AFC East, finishing the season with 2 wins, (unless we rest starters week 17 if the seeding is finalized) would provide great momentum for the Playoffs. Also, everyone should click on the article itself. Good pictures in it.

AFC QBs heading into 2020 - major transitions coming
RyanC883 replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
great analysis. I think PGH will be fine with Ben back, but they need to draft and groom a backup. I think Tenn will stick with Tanny. He seems to have a rapport with the WR's there, but it will tie up a huge chunk of $$, and they also have to pay Henry. Not sure what Indy will do. Looks like a potential QB purgatory there, or a Brady landing spot. I think Jacksonville sticks with Minshew, and drafts another guy. Or Brady spot. NE: finally, their reign of QB ridiculousness is over. Cincy: getting a stud in the draft. That team should rebuild quickly, and I think quicker than Cleveland, unless they replace Kitchens. Oak: I'd keep Carr and draft. Wildcard in all of this: Where is Rosen next year. He has had two really historically bad teams. Perhaps he goes to PGH as the backup? He'd be servicable behind a competent OL. -
Our offensive consistence is a consistency of under-performance. I'm fine with Daboll going. Frazier is clearly a keeper. keeping the HC is key. PGH has had OC turnover. They have been stable at DC for the most part, with LeBeau and now Butler. Hopefully if someone wants to hire a DC as HC, they take Butler and not Frazier! not sure another year of Daboll's inconsistent play calling is good for anyone. The game plan against the Ravens was terrible. Long passes that Allen air-mails. You beat blitzes the way the Pats**** do, with short throws and running.

I'd keep Ford, he's been great last 3 weeks or so. I would activate and play DW, play Yeldon, esp. splitting him out wide and make 2 back sets with him and Singletary to confuse D's. I'd keep Gore active, I think they use him for pass blocking, and he's good for a 4 yard tough run. I'd actually get Knox more involved. Yeah, he dropped some balls, but everyone has a slump, and he's a rookie. He had one target, for a first down, against PGH. I'd like to see more sets with him and Kroft. We need to be able to neturalitize other teams blitzing, esp. playoff teams, with quick strikes to TE's, Beasley, Motor, Yeldon, and Brown. This, of course, comes down to Daboll realizing what he has and making the correct play calls.

the "Knock" on Fitz coming out of college was the "speed to separate." I agree we won't get every attribute. I think the 40 is overrated. The ability to run concise routes like Fitz does creates separation, as does being big and catching what is thrown to you.

An edge rusher makes more sense here. The WR class is deep, and getting another short, speedy WR makes little scene. If Tee Higgins is here, I'd take him.

Opinion Column: Kick Patriots out of 2019 Playoffs

reduced cap is fine with me as well. although I feel like the Pats** would cheat their way around that. -
Opinion Column: Kick Patriots out of 2019 Playoffs
RyanC883 replied to krf139's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
no doubt that's what the NFL will do. But the issue of a postseason ban is the same as in college. Perhaps a team is banned and would not have made it anyway. That's why you need to strip draft picks in addition, and fine the organization a huge amount. -
Brady said "Lawson who." And also said Tre White is terrible, and that Oliver should have been the first pick...of the 7th round. Yep. Brady said all those things!

Opinion Column: Kick Patriots out of 2019 Playoffs
RyanC883 replied to krf139's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if this happened in college, there would be a multi-year postseason ban, as well as a ban on recruiting. Here is my suggestion: Kick Pats out of Playoffs in 2019 and 2020, as well as take away their top 2 round picks in the next 2 drafts. Fine the organization a huge amount. They clearly don't get the message.
