  1. That's kind of awesome. If I'm a HS player I'm calling him and asking him for training tips, etc.
  2. I get the part about a RB needing to get into rhythm. I don't think Motor is one of those guys. HE appears to be able to come in at any point at be up to speed. So we will need to make sure we draft a RB partner that can also come in and be at 100%. Your point about Henry is spot-on. He was good, but not great, when splitting carries with Lewis. When he was the "lead" he dominated. I'd love an Ingram/Kamara situation. I think that's what we are going for.
  3. would love this. And he's likely a 3rd or 4th rounder.
  4. oh, prepare to own it
  5. sorry, i couldn't see vote totals until I refreshed.
  6. he's in next weeks
  7. ha, I had to debate between him and Taylor. Didn't want to split the RB vote, so i took the guy who is generally higher. But you'll see him in next weeks poll! Yolo, don't just comment, vote
  8. For fun, lets assume all 4 of these guys are available with our 2nd round pick. It's possible that none, or only one is available. These are top-level guys at our positions of greatest need. I'll do another poll with "2nd tier"/"more realistic" or whatever you want to call it options next week. But if all of these guys are around, and some mock drafts have them being available, who do you take and why. Let the fun begin!
  9. Bean may be able to pull it off. That, or trade him for JJ Watt!
  10. James Morgan, FIU; Jalen Hurts; would be nice if around in the 5th.
  11. he has a jewelry habit?
  12. oh I'd take him in the 3rd. I'd love him in the 4th, but if he's there in the 3rd, yeah, I'm grabbing him then.
  13. 1 round a day. That would be fantastic. Vikings is also great. (on Hulu) Better Call Saul (AMC) is another good one.
  14. there is precedent for the league not doing anything to the Pats***.
  15. this. he made a bunch of crazy catches (caught one with his bicep). He also runs angry when he has the ball and hunts for extra yards. He was a rookie, and his numbers (esp. if he had less drops) were on-line with some TE 1's rookie numbers.
  16. it's not the same, but there are a few workout apps that are really good. some charge like $8 a month. I started using Sworkit. Below are links to fitness app reviews. https://www.menshealth.com/technology-gear/g23007883/best-fitness-apps/?slide=21 https://www.healthline.com/health/fitness-exercise/top-iphone-android-apps#jj-official-minute-workout
  17. well, 12/12 in the redzone is something. I like that. I'd like Claypool if he lasts until the 4th, but I doubt he does. This draft will be fun. It's great to have a GM you trust making the calls. I went from "who is this guy" early on, to being glad when he got Singletary last year even though I thought it was early and the kid wouldn't make it in the NFL.
  18. seemed like a guy that wanted to win, just couldn't get it done. I remember how happy he was when we got Mario Williams in FA. Wish he could have had more sustained success, but a bevy of bad coaching and GM hires harmed him after the Polian/Levy era. But I suppose, as Dick Jauron once said, "it's hard to win in the NFL." Will always appreciate the dedication he had to his adopted city of Buffalo, and glad he kept the team here. I don't even live in Buffalo, but the Bills are not the Bills unless they are the Buffalo Bills!!
  19. another benefit of the garlic regime is that it likely keeps people 6 feet away I actually love garlic also
  20. same here. I'm a fan of the Blue jersey with the Red helmet. For some reason the white jersey and red helmet looks odd to me. I'd go w/ the charging helmet or the standing buffalo w/ that one.
  21. so sorry to hear about this. Sorry for your loss.
  22. Tell your wife (and you) thanks from all of us! Also, many thanks for the advice re: mouthwash and Zinc. Will definitely take that advice. Here are links to foods high in Zinc: https://www.webmd.com/add-adhd/childhood-adhd/qa/which-foods-are-high-in-zinc https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/best-foods-high-in-zinc#section2
  23. most of the guys who will be available at 54 seem to be backup caliber, at least at first. I think a guy like Alton Robinson, Curtis Weaver, or Highsmith in the 3rd or 4th would be a good get.
  24. if he is there at 54 it would be hard to pass on. I'd rather go OT or RB at 54 and then Claypool in the 3rd, but Mims would be very hard to pass on. While we do have Brown and Beasley, both are over 30 and getting a guy who can be a #1 in 2-3 years would be huge.
  25. I totally agree with your overall post, esp. personal responsibility, but I don't believe that millions of Americans are ignoring that order to only go out for food, exercise, and essential items. IF they were, restaurants would still have dine-in. This isn't happening--at least not that I'm aware of. Schools and other venues would be opening, not happening. Sure, some people may be ignoring certain things, but it's generally not happening at a large scale level. thanks. how do we report political posts? I only responded because they continued to be appearing unabated. Then, of course, I got a warning.
