  1. as a backup, I think he's fine. I mean, look at some of the backup play last year around the league. Some great (Minchew), some not great (Duck in Pgh). As for Brady, my guess is Tenn. I could see that team being in win-now mode, esp. if it can keep D. Henry. They also have a good TE, and Brady loves those. I could also see the Saints if Brees and Bridgewater are gone. They could get Brady, keep Hill and let him become the starter after Brady leaves.
  2. well, we ended up with 2 of them eventually! drafting Aaron Maybin. Drafting Konjouo (OL) who had arthritic knees with a high pick.
  3. 22 A.J. Epenesa , EDGE Iowa 54 J.K. Dobbins , RB Ohio State 86 Denzel Mims , WR Baylor 118 Tyler Johnson , WR Minnesota 137 Davon Hamilton , IDL Ohio State 149 Jack Driscoll , OT Auburn 168 Lamar Jackson , CB Nebraska 181 Francis Bernard , LB Utah 187 Binjimen Victor , WR Ohio State I like this draft, although most of my top WR choices were gone by the 2nd round. But Mims is described as a guy who can get inaccurately thrown balls, Johnson tore up the Big 10, and DL Hamilton is an upgrade on Star.
  4. that round 1-3 is amazing. Albeit somewhat unrealistic, esp. Lewis in the 3rd. But that would be great.
  5. I really hope the team has watched this, multiple times. As @thebandit27 points out, there are numerous ways the Bills should have iced this game, but in typical Bills fashion, went into complete meltdown mode instead. At least it happened in the Playoffs this time, and this time, I think the Bills learn from it.
  6. I'll do the Jags in Rd. 3 if we are doing a 3rd round. I did the first, first round pick for them.
  7. “If he wants to overpay a little bit to keep Shaq Lawson, he can. He could cut Tyler Kroft, Star Lotulelei and Trent Murphy, and it wouldn’t make a dent in his cap space or his future cap because of the way he has structured the contracts.” the answer is yes, cut kroft, star and trent!
  8. I agree with OL. I just don't see a WR in FA who is worth it or will even produce to the level that Hooper/Henry will. I hope we get Hunter/Henry and Conklin (OL).
  9. Travis always has struck me as a major meat-head. And calling this legendary is nonsense.
  10. likely because his O-line was holding and he was throwing it away. That, and add on the fact that D players are afraid to hit him after the past 20 years of nonsense.
  11. mixed feelings. If we get him good, if not, it means we are looking at FA TE's and I can see my dream of Hooper/Henry coming!
  12. Knox is going to be a beast. It's funny, my 7 year old son saw that play, and was like, "I want a Knox jersey."
  13. good. Cooper has been a disappointment, IMHO, and will be overpaid for what he produces. I'd rather have a rookie, and someone who will cost less like AJ Green.
  14. I was going to take Willis or D. Brown, who already was selected. Jags in big need of fixing their lines, the Jags likely take a WR at 21 (due to the depth at WR compared to OL/DL). But Jeudy is hard to pass up. I like the Delpit selection. He was mocked top 10 before last season. This could be an Ed Oliver selection where people call it the "steal" of the draft a year from now. I think he is a pro-bowl caliber safety, and is very valuable in the AFC North.
  15. with the #9 pick, the Jaguars and their 3 US-based fans are ecstatic to select Jedrick Willis--OT Alabama. Willis will help the statute that is Nick Foles stay upright and be able to actually get the ball to some of the WR weapons that Jax possesses. He will also be able to open holes for Jax running game. Cheerio to our fans in London, @Rc2catch and the Browns are now on the clock.
  16. I could see us upgrading the backup position with a 3rd or later pick if someone slips or we like someone like Jalen Hurts--who is a project; more likely, I see a FA being brought in to challenge for the backup spot. I think Barkely is adequate, but if Bean and Co. see a major upgrade, I think they take it....just not in 1-3 rounds.
  17. what sports betting app can I place a bet on this. I'm taking over all day.
  18. Knox should win it! Plus, it was a huge play at that time of the game.
  19. totally agree. Conklin!!!
  20. it looks like this: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ We'll keep him. And as others have noted, sooner rather than later is likely better. Keeps him locked up, lower price, and sends a good signal to players that we keep those who perform over several seasons.
  21. well, I like that the Bills notice the need for another good TE. You look at the Ravens and Eagles, both have good, 2 young TE's. The 49ers have 2 good TE's when the FB is lined up as a TE or WR. I would love two good TE's. The pressure on the D it can create is valuable.
  22. RB class also looks deep this year. I'll take LSU's RB in Rd. 3. (Edge/WR likely 1st and 2nd). well, this can change my mind. If he is an elite level receiver, he can also be lined up at WR with Singletary in the backfield, WR in 2nd, then you have a problem covering them all, not to mention Knox and Hunter/Hooper/Olsen.
  23. this is great info! I
  24. I’ll take Henry then. Two legit no 1 TE’s in Henry and Knox.
