  1. can we get Chandler Jones??!!
  2. you may be right. but i hope not. i wish there was a barf emoji on here. lucky my phone has it covered: ?
  3. do both? If we have the cap space and get good David Johnson, we would have a 3 headed monster at RB conceivably.
  4. I totally agree that adding TE's can help make up for the lack of a top WR in FA. But, I recommend targeting Hooper or Henry, and adding Njoku. I wouldn't trade for Howard.
  5. great question. anyone know the answer. I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. It's not a "real" deal, so either side could back out. At any rate, I like the fact we are looking at FA TE's. Hopefully Olson, Hunter, or Henry. I'd prefer one of the latter, but getting Olsen now would alleviate the need to go all-in on the others, and free up money for a DE (Yannik!@)
  6. I'd take Teddy over Dak every day. this is an interesting situation, what do you pay an above-average, non-elite QB. And I agree with others, these QB's should not be "resetting" the market. The top QB's should be doing that (Wilson, Brees, etc).
  7. going to have to disagree there. And, it's backfired spectacularly. When your own teammates don't go along with this race-baiting angle, and the Steelers, including Pouncy, do not back you up, you're going to have issues and look even less sympathetic than before. Fans are forgiving of doing stupid things like Garrett did, but making up horrible accusations--the truth comes out--never help you.
  8. I don't get the Levi is garbage thing. I mean, if we have one starting CB who is garbage, the other 3 guys in our secondary are absolute studs then. I think Levi is just unfairly compared to White, who, IMO, is the best CB in the league, along with Hyde/Poyer, who are also fantastic.
  9. I saw him and the RB from UCLA listed as good fits for the Bills with Motor as people who can bang it inside. I'd take him. He's likely a 4th round or later pick due to the bevy of RB's in the draft. And I'm not worried about his catching right now. We have Motor and Yeldon for that.
  10. not to mention, I think he still played well after Stafford was injured. He'd be great for Allen with his ability to grab semi-inaccurate thrown balls.
  11. I believe each teams team Dr. is at the game. at the very least. I would hope they have the same equipment as the NHL ready.
  12. that would be a nice return. What's his tag price?
  13. I thought Ford was drafted for some reason. At any rate, I don't buy the "you can find a RB anywhere" mentality. There are some in the draft that look like fits, but I'd rather roll with Motor, Yeldon and a draft pick than have to rely on a late-round rookie as a backup.
  14. Great topic. I'd only want a TE if we miss out on Hunter or Hooper, who are likely the top TE and WR targets in FA, IMO. I would like Mariota as a backup. As another poster said, he has a similar skillset to Allen. CB's Jones (PHL) and Jackson (GB) look like good low-priced, high-upside guys.
  15. I'm all for dumping Kroft. I'd keep Lawson over Phillips (who is a bit of a 1.5 year wonder); unless we get Yannik. Then I'd grab ONE FA TE (unless we get Olsen, then I'd grab Hooper/Henry). I'm not as worried about WR FA's because we got the best at a lower cost in Hooper/Henry, and will be able to draft an impact WR. I'd also keep Yeldon, and tell Bean to actually use him. If we need to cut Yeldon to make room for a DE, however, I'd cut him and draft a replacement. But drafting a RB does not always work. Just look at our guys in the XFL!
  16. I think that would be, oddly, Cardale Jones! https://www.fantasyteamadvisors.com/xfl-week-1-qb-rankings/ clearly the best backup is Teddy Bridgewater. But that guy will be starting somewhere next year. Hopefully on the Chargers and NOT the Pats! FFIW, the Saints should keep him over Brees.
  17. Another benefit to Tre of extending now, is that the next contract will hit sooner, with even bigger numbers. gets a lot guaranteed now, and later. I'd love to get it done now. Guy is a stud.
  18. I like Mims in the 2nd. I think he's a great match for JA. this is why I can't use Fanspeak anymore. This is totally awesome, but no way Higgins lasts that long!
  19. I like most of these ideas. The Bull rush seems a bit off, but I like the thought process behind it.
  20. I saw Freeman and Addison going to the Bills. I like this, although I'd like to keep Lawson also. Freeman and Motor would be a fantastic pairing. But have to keep Spain and the OL together and add to it. (RT).
  21. exactly why not to click on the posts. If you want to generate conversation, how about a better topic: can Motor have avoid a sophmore slump? Can Knox become a fantasy football winner at TE next year, etc. Things that generate clicks without being a total waste of time.
  22. this is stupid. I used to respect PFF, but they have managed to do the unthinkable: become worse than Bleacher Report. Congrats guys. BTW: won't be clicking on these links. Total click-bate at best, terrible 1st grade analysis at worst.
  23. I think Perryman (WR-Tampa) is somewhat a high risk. The guy was a relative bust with the Ravens, had a good statistical year last year on a team that throws it A TON. Not sure what he would be here, and he will likely be mid-range in price. Not sure I'd go after him, but I wouldn't hate it either.
