i agree that I would rather have these guys. My point was I am just surprised we didn’t make a move for a speed guy as well, but the app stat and MD rb’s likely went too high. but I have no problem with the current backfield.
I like this. For the purposes of the question: yes, I think we have the deepest line in the league.
For other purposes, I would be addison in as a starter, and Harrison will be dependent on how he does in the preseason. Otherwise I see Jefferson/Star.
this is what I've read re: Syracuse's season also. It was phrased in a question re: whether basketball and lax would be impacted. The answer was that even with the Dome as the home for all those sports, the football season could continue to coexist with basketball (as it does in the fall) and lax might go outside--as it planned to this year.
I think college football happens somehow.
far to obsessed with what>? I'm just surprised we didn't get a break-away back. I also noted that ability to get 10-20 yards quickly is better than 40. So I'm not sure what your snippy comment was about.
I like the no more comp pick idea. Or just put them at the end of the 7th. It’s basically lime first crack at UDFA then.
we sucked at drafting for soo long.
YES. Finally!!! Dude is a beast who I think had a Rd. 1 grade going into last year.
In fact, we now have 3 "way too early" 1st round picks from the mock conducted after last years draft!!
really surprised we didn’t get a speed back. 40 is overrated to some extent, but the ability to break away is nonexistent for these guys. they can get 10-20 chunks, but then caught from behind.
Like these picks. Red Zone offense is MUCH better now. Some good depth at other positions.
Biggest issue, IMO, was more offensive weapons, esp. in other teams part of the field, and we seem to have solved that.
