I think we do need a better back, but we also need better OL play. A new OL coach may be needed in addition to new players.
whoever has scouted DL for us the past few years should NoT be allowed to have input on the next DL pick. FA and Draft have been awful
true/good point.
but overall, many businesses operate under different state laws. this really is not that different. we currently have a disadvantage (perhaps) because of no fans in stands. but when things open up again, we will have a huge advantage with our fans. in the meantime, we have fans at away games still. I’m fine with the NFL’s approach.
The World Series has fans. So did NLDS and ALCS. True, in a bubble, but still fans.
Agree that you should post to the entire report. But, I think the OP’s point is that the warnings in the report are what we are seeing now.
Really, overall, the D has regressed, the OL has regressed, gee, seems to point to coaching to me.
interesting stat here re: how bad the tackling was, from D&C article:
“According to ESPN, 197 of the rushing yards came after first contact, an indictment on the Bills’ poor tackling, which was confirmed by Pro Football Focus as it had the Bills with 12 missed tackles.”
missing assignments, can’t tackle. the “talent” on this D is almost nonexistent.
the point is that if Spain is here, we have a backup OL. Currently, he is gone, with, as you correctly point out, no benefit to the cap. So, we are down a player, with less availability to sign someone.
yeah i just don't get it. He's making money. He can pout, but what if someone gets hurt. And now we have almost no money to sign a guy off the street because of the dead cap hit this year.
difference is the Bills were coming off a trip to the Super Bowl, and had defeated an elite team on San Fran earlier in the year. This team has done nothing.
