interesting stat here re: how bad the tackling was, from D&C article:
“According to ESPN, 197 of the rushing yards came after first contact, an indictment on the Bills’ poor tackling, which was confirmed by Pro Football Focus as it had the Bills with 12 missed tackles.”
missing assignments, can’t tackle. the “talent” on this D is almost nonexistent.
the point is that if Spain is here, we have a backup OL. Currently, he is gone, with, as you correctly point out, no benefit to the cap. So, we are down a player, with less availability to sign someone.
yeah i just don't get it. He's making money. He can pout, but what if someone gets hurt. And now we have almost no money to sign a guy off the street because of the dead cap hit this year.
difference is the Bills were coming off a trip to the Super Bowl, and had defeated an elite team on San Fran earlier in the year. This team has done nothing.
just a total bonehead idea. hey, this D can’t stop the run. Lets bench a DT and DE, and then, lets make the other team run, even though we can’t stop it.
I think Pitt and Tenn and Balt will have more success on D against KC. Our players are mostly backup caliber.
superstar white is looking quite average this year
that’s the question. Josh plays small in big games, not that he had any help from the RB’s or OL.
no nastyness in either line. our most “nasty” player is Allen.
I agree on not blitzing, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn’t be able to stop the run. The D has been abysmal all year. And I agree, the offense was terrible. Allen has failed twice in back to back big games. Franchise WB’s don't do that, IMO.
he is on a Ps??? inexcusable not to sign him.
I thought that also, but I don’t see how beating a glorified college team helps you get right. false confidence perhaps.
we haven’t had a great team in a long time, it’s warranted.
and if KC couldn’t run at will we would have had the ball more. saying no one cares about run D is bonkers. Well, it looks like Frazier may not. That’s working out well. L’s to two top teams.
