Cover 1 Buffalo podcast (Salary Cap Info)

cutting only Butler and Jefferson would seem to allow us to keep OT Williams, likely Felicanio (who I think is overrated by many here, IMO), and perhaps Milano depending on what he's offered. If Milano is offered too much, we could get DT Tomlinson in FA and draft a LB. -
Tyreek Hill impressed by Justin Zimmer

Kyle could have been a short yardage RB also. Worked out the one time we did it! will be nice to have a REAL 1 tech next year. Rotate Zimmer and Oliver at 3 tech. We also need to acquire in FA or the draft another 1 Tech in addition to Star coming back. This year showed we have NOTHING behind him. -
trading up for Leonard would have been better, IMO. overall, a very good draft. every pick is currently contributing, here or somewhere else. The headline pick in J. Allen was fantastic. t

another one, more offense this time: 30. Buffalo Bills Javonte Williams RB, North Carolina 62. Buffalo Bills Brevin Jordan TE, Miami 93. Buffalo Bills Hamsah Nasirildeen S, Florida State 160. Buffalo Bills Bobby Brown III IDL, Texas A&M 173. Buffalo Bills Amari Rodgers WR, Clemson 210. Buffalo Bills DJ Daniel CB, Georgia

Today's draft with no trades. Happy to upgrade OL and DL, but missed out on LB and a more impactful offensive player. Overall a good draft if we address LB in FA, which seems unlikely. 30. Buffalo Bills Jalen Mayfield OT, Michigan 62. Buffalo Bills Carlos Basham Jr. EDGE, Wake Forest 93. Buffalo Bills Alim McNeill IDL, NC State 160. Buffalo Bills Kylin Hill RB, Mississippi State 173. Buffalo Bills Shaka Toney EDGE, Penn State 210. Buffalo Bills Trill Williams CB, Syracuse

Bills TE Lee Smith is contemplating retirement
RyanC883 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this mentorship of Allen thing is overblown. It seems like most of our marginal veteran offensive players "mentored" Allen. Lee, Barkley, etc. I'm sure we can replace Lee with someone who can help Allen, to the extent he continues to need it beyond the QB Coach/OC. Henry had Gates ahead of him, which led his breakout year being later. I'm fine with Knox as a receiver, but his blocking is horrid. -
hey, enough piling on the OP. Guy trying to come up with something fun trade wise in the offseason, and all you wise-guys show up! I think we'd have to trade our 1st for the other Josh Allen. I'd do a 1st and 6th for him. I think he'd be great here. He did have a down year last year then got hurt. It's a gamble a bit for both teams.

Derek Carr reportedly in demand, could lead to trade
RyanC883 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yep. And a RB. agree. I think we get OL help from the draft and keep our current guys. Edge or big nickel could come from FA. this is a great point. -
I think you need to put someone on Kelce for sure, and perhaps even hill. Maul them at the LOS where you are allowed to bump the receiver. You simply cannot allow either of these two to have clean breaks. Mess up the timing a bit, and hope that someone on the front 7 gets to the QB. I disagree with this. White is strong enough to handle press, so is Jackson. Wallace might be also. Poyer is. And have Edmunds or Milano press Kelce. I mean, esp. in the KC game, we needed to press Hill with a CB. Hill is not a "big" guy. The D is soft zone because that's what Frazier and/or McD love, and it's going to get them killed against KC.
-
KC also has CEH. We are missing the 3rd part of a "big 3" on offense, as well as a great front 7 player like KC has. I think we can get the RB in the draft, so we have Josh, Diggs, and RB; and then grab a DT/DE in FA. KC will still be tough to beat every year for the reason you said. Those 3 always give them a chance to win.

I think we had a really good draft class. Interestingly, the class seemingly has more impact players AFTER the third round. Epensea is a ? at this point, Moss was trending very well before his injury and is likely the starter on paper next season who will compete with a rookie/FA; Gabe Davis looked like a 2nd round WR at worst; Bass looks like a pro-bowl kicker, and Dane Jackson looks like a legit CB 2 from the limited play he's been given.

I also like walter football, but the amount of ads/lag time is really annoying. drafttek.com is also great.

Source: LB Matt Milano looking for “top dollar” in FA
RyanC883 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this is perhaps true, but we don't have many "elite/top dollar" defensive players.
