  1. First, this is awesome and thanks for taking the time to do this again!! I like a lot of your picks. I think for the Bills I’d take OT Mayfield in Rd. 1, and hope Surratt is there in Rd. 2. If not, might trade back or grab J. Williams from UNC. In other picks, I have Fields as QB2, and Lance as QB 3. I even think that if the Jets are stuck with Darnold they (or the Falcons) could take a flyer on Lance hoping a year to learn turns him into a Josh Allen type.
  2. agree. DE takes a while, and we need instant impact. I’d get 2 de in FA and get 1 tech DT in the draft. unless a value DE is there later on as a project type. But we do not have the time for a 1st round project IMo.
  3. yes, please. Hudson in Rd. 4. wow. This is a fantastic draft. Today's Mock Draft with comments. Would like any of yours. Used Draftnetwork, no trades: 30. Buffalo Bills Trevon Moehrig S, TCU (was BPA. Figure we can use him as a TE eraser. Although perhaps should have taken a "lesser" OT such as Leatherwood or a OG like Davis at this juncture) 62. Buffalo Bills Chazz Surratt LB, North Carolina (love this value. Milano replacement and a pass rusher) 93. Buffalo Bills Tyler Shelvin IDL, LSU (another pick I love. A 1 tech who can also get after the passer. Shelvin and Oliver look like a dream team). 162. Buffalo Bills Deommodore Lenoir CB, Oregon (CB depth. Seems to be a good fit for our zone D concepts). 175. Buffalo Bills Drake Jackson IOL, Kentucky (interior OL help, backup center. Not sure if he can play Guard or not). 215. Buffalo Bills Jermar Jefferson RB, Oregon State (RB with home run hitting potential and some size (well, weight). 230. Buffalo Bills Jaelon Darden WR, North Texas (WR with home run hitting potential, also a special teams player at returner as a backup).
  4. thanks. either guy of interest here? From the little research I did Allen looks like an interesting guy to bring in at CB depth.
  5. I can't see either there. If not them, OG Davis from Ohio State? yeah he does. It just seems DE's take 1-3 years to fully develop, with the rare exception. I think we need FA pass rush help and draft at a more plug and play position (OL, DT, LB, RB), but I won't be upset with an Edge pick like Phillips either.
  6. shed some DL, get a 1 tech and Watt. We can draft and have depth to fill in the other gaps.
  7. Cle’s only advantages appears to be: 1. Garrett if Watt is looking to play on the same line as a top player ; and 2. cap space.
  8. I agree. although backup is a bit of ?
  9. there is also an article (haven't read it yet) focused on the Bills: Buffalo Bills 2021 free agency and NFL Draft preview | NFL News, Rankings and Statistics | PFF
  10. I love the idea of a tough guy OL, but would have liked Felicanio to step up by playing well v. Jones.
  11. do both. short one year deal. DT from LSU or FSU in 3rd.
  12. that sucks. great player. RIP. Prayers for him and his family.
  13. I'm not sure he'd steal TJ's limelight. TJ is a stud at the top of his game, and he is close with his brother. The main downside to PGH is that they are unlikely SB competitors with a ton of FA questions. I think PGH and BUF have to be his top choices (family and potential to win v. likely bigger payday, greater ability to win)
  14. ok. Watt is dropping Easter eggs or unintentionally teasing us!! Tenn does make sense from a Vrabel perspective, and that D needs help. But, we are much closer than Tenn. Plus, wing. who could we draft that would have just as much impact as Watt? DE's rarely have a good year 1.
  15. i get the positional value argument. but if he is that good, perhaps the value to this team is there? Jackson was a good pickup. I think he js the no.2 next year.
  16. I also like Williams from UNC
  17. Exactly. A lot of these types of cities, like PGH where I live, have fantastic architecture because of the early 1900's wealth. Buffalo was also one of the 10 largest cities in the US in 1900 I believe. Didn't know about the wealth per capita. Where is that from. Neat stat.
  18. what a moron. With taxes that 'match' is less. this is a ridiculous take. Then why do FA's go to places like Green Bay or Baltimore?
  19. lets do it. and lets blow him up on twitter, etc. with Bills Mafia love!
  20. Thanks. Dickerson seems the most interesting to me. Can he play guard? Brown is also intriguing. Wouldn't mind Harris, but I think he's gone by 30, same with Waddle. Barmore seems like he will get picked too high for me relative to the risk and the other DT's available in the draft.
  21. totally underutilized in Dallas.
  22. Today's draft. Appreciate any comments. My thoughts in parentheses. Also, still irked that Draft Network forgets our 7th round pick!! 30. Buffalo Bills Alijah Vera-Tucker IOL, USC (like this pick. Can't believe he was available.) 62. Buffalo Bills Carlos Basham Jr. EDGE, Wake Forest (another player that I was shocked was available. the Draft Network uses its mock drafts to take players, so I guess this is possible. If so, yeah, I'm grabbing him here.) 93. Buffalo Bills Walker Little OT, Stanford (this is a guy who I read was a 1st round prospect prior to injuries. If he can recover any of that form, this is a huge steal here and helps the line) 160. Buffalo Bills Shaka Toney EDGE, Penn State (undersized guy, but a guy who has produced over multiple seasons as a pass rusher) 173. Buffalo Bills Simi Fehoko WR, Stanford (big play WR. Good WR depth. Special Teams contributor at the very least) 210. Buffalo Bills Kelvin Joseph CB, Kentucky (guy can play physical/press and cover TEs) this is good draft. Rousseau worries me a bit in terms of how impactful he would be in year 1, but could be worth the gamble. I like Morrissey at Rd5, solid backup center.
