  1. thats a lot of tackles. solid against the run? could be good depth.
  2. 12 personnel? like I’m sure having an extra player on the field would help😜
  3. I think, being at 30, we have two lists: (1) first list, players we would trade-up for, this is the "our guy" sort of list: say if a LB, or CB we have a very high grade on, or Pitts falls to a certain range. (2) players we want at 30, and if none are there, we try to trade down to acquire more picks.
  4. we are treading water while KC and Tampa improve. not good.
  5. i appreciate that insight. I have just read he is a freak athlete and good against the run. I agree there are 1T’s available later. your man crush on Boogie is enjoyable. But I agree. I’d take Boogie over Oweh. I’d like Boogie in the 2nd.
  6. Harris. Second would be an ol or JOC
  7. most mocks I've seen have OL, Edge, LB, CB, or RB to us at this spot.
  8. a DL perhaps like Levi Onwuzurike
  9. quite likely, myself included! perhaps Gil Brant's top 100 as a guide: https://www.nfl.com/news/gil-brandt-s-hot-100-1-0-top-prospects-in-2021-nfl-draft-class
  10. With the 24th pick in the TSW mock draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Javonte Williams, RB, North Carolina The Steelers through hard about going OT or LB here, but my top choices at those positions are gone, and the remainders may not be ready day 1 or don't fit the 3-4 system, leaving them as perhaps no better than what the Steelers currently have. The Steelers NEED a 3 down back. This guy fits exactly what they need. Speed, power, agility and catching ability. And as for the OL, the Steelers are hopeful that FA OT Alejandro Villaneuva comes back for another year. The Jaguars and @Buffalo716 are now on the clock.
  11. this means we want Williams from UNC. I like it
  12. todays draft with comments. Welcome yours! 30. Buffalo Bills Eric Stokes CB, Georgia (freaky fast corner...4.3 40, and has the size at 6'1, 190). 61. Buffalo Bills Jamin Davis LB, Kentucky (issue here is he is a 1 year starter. But had great production everywhere you look for) 93. Buffalo Bills Walker Little OT, Stanford (not sure he lasts this long. He is a 1st round talent with injury history) 161. Buffalo Bills Rashad Weaver EDGE, Pittsburgh (very productive DE at Pitt with some athletic limitations. Great against the run. Worst case I think is Shaq Lawson). 174. Buffalo Bills Bobby Brown III IDL, Texas A&M (apparently good against the run, but with motivational issues, esp. against the pass) 213. Buffalo Bills Ihmir Smith-Marsette WR, Iowa (great speedy WR, punt returner, etc) 236. Buffalo Bills Landon Young OT, Kentuck (apparently a great run blocker with not a lot of pass blocking experience).
  13. in. Steelers and/or Falcons and/or Chargers
  14. as one coach famously said, "it's hard to win in the NFL".
  15. we also have no idea what shape he shows up in this season. pinning our 1T hopes on him is a recipe for a letdown.
  16. I think Brant didn't rank players like Cisco with injury issues.
  17. I'd still take Harris or Williams if there potentially at 30. Or, most likely, a team that really wants one of those guys would be willing to trade with us. I think we still need upgrades at OG, DT, and DE and TE. I'd go in that order in the draft because they seem to have the most instant impact. I'd even swap 1st and trade 2nd and 5th for ability to grab Pitts. that is a good question: why did Miami barley use him???
  18. great recap. any red flags with Shelton beyond conditioning? off field stuff. it seems if we want an instant 1T only, Shelton is the guy, but a perhaps diverse 1T that can becoma an all-pro Slaton is the guy? and how do you rate Wilson?! Thanks!
  19. could be. everything I’ve read is cap related, but Nelson did tweet something like “don’t hold me hostage” at some point prior to being released.
  20. most sacks on our team last year. It's clearly an upgrade/project. But better than what we currently have. Hope we can keep him if he has a great year. If he's not great, little downside (other than opportunity cost if we don't get another FA DE).
