  1. if Star is so valuable, we really need a better backup so our whole D won’t tank if he is injured.
  2. the 2 seem to have a history of not benching vets quickly enough. but they will eventually admit their mistake. overall the best part of the mcd hire is his working relationship with bean. well, you were not wrong then!
  3. big test this Sunday. LETS GOOOOOOO!!!!!!
  4. Edmunds critic here: He had a great game against Houston. Want to see this continue. He's 23, I still think he'd be better as an OLB, but whatever, he looked great last game. I really hope this is a thing he keeps up this year. Perhaps the light finally came on. We drafted some raw prospects, (him included), and perhaps some of them are turning into solid-great contributors (Knox, Edmunds, etc). this. He needs to keep this up. Last game showed what he can do at top gear. Needs to be in that gear all the time.
  5. bold literally made me LOL! So true, and I like Levi, but Gilmore is an upgrade. Agreed that money talks. I think Gilmore's unhappiness in Buffalo was being on a dysfunctional losing team (Rex team). I think he would look at JAX and say "no thanks." If he's going after top dollar, I think CAR has the most space on a functional team that needs a CB. If going for a ring this year, I think BUF (really, we may be SB fav's with him); KC, and TB are the favs. ?? that's a great point. What do KC and TB have? Just curious, I have no idea. I think the "he goes to TB/KC" by some is Rex year FA PTSD (which I also suffer from!)
  6. you are 100% correct. If you turn your head and look at the ball, it's almost never PI because the defender has the same right to go after the ball as the WR, so contact is incidental in that instance. If the head is not turned and there is contact, the defender is not going for the ball and it gets called. he did sulk, but people grow, and he was playing for Rex (ugh)
  7. I think the sulking was part of being in the Rex awful teams. And if that happens here, he's gone. We basically have 2 #1 CBs if we get him here, and this will give us arguably the top secondary in the NFL and allow us to go toe to toe with any offense.
  8. I think the vastly different culture may be the reason for him wanting to leave, and it may be the reason he comes back. I'm not sure he "never wanted to be here," I think he hated losing. Jax??? I think: 1. TB 2. KC 3. BUF 4. BAL 5. CAR
  9. the Cowboys have a lot of good LBs. This guy was given a lot of money, that's why no one wanted to trade for him. Bring him in here, let him compete. We need backup LBs. We really only have Klien that could fill a starter role. If he stinks here, we cut him.
  10. I think Allen and Jackson are both in that category. Jackson has really improved as a passer this year. was it Young or Schffner? Who do we burn in effigy??. Both are kind of boring, IMhO.
  11. I thought it was a Beeeeaaaaaassss” cheer also. if people are booing him they are not real fans.
  12. and I was at the game. 🤷‍♂️
  13. wait. are people booing him? That’s absurd. I thought it was a “bees” like Beasly cheer.
  14. interesting. at least Milano’s replacement Klein appears to be a good blitzer. I think I’ve seen him kn a few delayed blitzes also we have to okay more physical, period, both on offense at OL and the WR’s releasing, as well as hitting their WR/TE’s to throw off timing.
  15. I think we should come out running the ball on KC. Establish that, then unleash Josh. Calm Josh down, that OL looked much better, and I like having Singletary/Moss involved early. Seems to get everyone going, opens stuff up. Sanders is a game changer for us v. Brown last year, so that's a positive on offense. So is Knox's improvement. Unclear how our D plays, first top offense it's faced. Hopefully the D line is ready to rumble.
  16. Anyone else worried about Josh Gordon. I know, he's 30, been out of the league, etc. I can't find the link, but apparently KC is going to activate him and he's "looked like a top #1 WR" during practice.
  17. yeah, makes sense, but at the same time, they want to win. The players work for a team, not the NFL. But I get that position groups train together in the offseason.
  18. is it Star? Is it Oliver playing better because Oliver looks a bit bigger and is winning his one on ones that he was not last year? The DL also looked great yesterday when Star rotated out. I'd say it's an overall improved group. We don't have any real pro-bowl caliber players on the DL right now, but the group overall is solid. That's the difference between now and last year, IMO.
  19. I’m thinking Kelce and whoever else runs that are wondering why they helped him!!
  20. must be something. clearly an issue with him you’d think they could figure out. foam rolling? so Daboll hopefully calls more runs. Always nervous with him.
  21. who is Poyer’s backup this week? Cooks is a beast, but that’s not enough and would like to see White shadow him.
  22. that, and Bellicheat basically drove Brady out of town to prove he could “win without him”.
  23. Either the great recommendation here (Deleware Mansion) or a chain (a hilton, marriott, hyatt). For parking: depends on where you need to be after the game. I park at Bert’s Bike shop to hit 90 west to 79 south.
  24. Eminem is totally washed up. not sure how the others are. this would have been great 10-20 years ago.
