  1. I agree Pickens likely stays in PIT. However, in the event PIT does offer him for trade, I'd take that risk.
  2. Well said, also cost them the 1 seed. The lack of an elite weapon for JA is neasuating, esp. since Bean and McD are publicly down on Coleman.
  3. now that we know the compensation, totally ridiculous we did not trade a 2nd for him.
  4. we need to trade up for Grant if necessary. We should also be able to get Slay ton and keep Hollins. Benford should be extended, and I like your proposed range, same with Cook. Cook does not have a ton of leverage. If he sits out he makes nothing and risks Davis or a draft pick looking like a stud and him (Cook) as a system back.
  5. oh I have. I’m in Pgh. Huge talent, huge nutcase. I’d gamble if we can’t hit elsewhere on a WR.
  6. I’d do it. On a rookie contract. Enough Vets now that a WR can’t cause the issues that Diggs did at the end.

  8. this is great news. Now get him a toy (Slayton, Palmar, get Ty Johnson and Hollins back).
  9. I wonder if he ends back here. Sounds like both sides interested. I can’t imagine he will have a huge market
  10. FA CB and Slayton WR. Heck Palmar also. Edge Koonce, and one (or both) Mack and Sweat.
  11. I like this. But I think Stutsman plays slow I read (bad coverage). Would love Tuten at RB. I was thinking you were serious until the WR part. haha
  12. well, Metcalf is def better than Slayton, but did he disappear due to QB play is the question. I’d go Slayton due to speed and size, but him or Palmar are my top 2 guys left. Why not add both?
  13. who do you like? I just can’t envision a guy in year 1 making a huge impact. Would love to add Koonce and Mack or Sweat at Edge (in addition to a rookie)
  14. bringing back Ty Johnson is a huge must for the Bills. He kept the offense humming on 3rd down as JAs #1 3rd down weapon. Hollins is another must resign. Guy was clutch and was generally the most reliable WR. Would like adding Sweat and Ward as it lessens the need for whoever we pick early at those spots to NEED to be day 1 contributors. Not excited about Alexander as the No. 30 pick. Would take a CB, WR Tre Harris or DT Collins.
  15. ridiculous that we did not get him. Bean overvaluing draft picks again so he can blow another 1st rounder. Great.
  16. DK seemed fine in the Seattle cold. Bettis played at ND and Pittsburgh with asthma. Perhaps DK has it worse?
  17. this is what bad teams do. overpay at DE when they lack a QB, RB, etc.
  18. not sure it’s a deep draft at pass rusher. Edge, sure, but most seem to be the edge setting type. That said, some FA’s left who would mix well with draft picks. Mack, Koonce, Sweat (my guess is Phl keeps him), and get a high upside guy like Ivey in the 2nd or get a few in the later rounds. Diggs may be a good grt from Cuse later as a pass rushing specialist.
  19. FA Koonce looking good now. Get him and Mack.
  20. totally mismanaged. There should be a dome for this amount.
  21. was more interested in Slayton here.
  22. really like the 1st and 3rd pick here. Do mot know much about JT. Might go Wr and Edge later if JT is more of an edge setter than sack guy.
  23. hanging out with Von in Texas?
  24. nice, paying a lot for a great but not elite player. Is some of the salary for him to perform annual vanishing acts in the playoffs? yep. Greg does not have that killer mentality. Scheme is an issue, but so is the lack of that elite want to win. and that would be a huge failure on Bean’s part warranting his termination if the D sucks again in the playoffs
