  1. the Pat's had a great plan. Stout D, two great TEs, and draft a RB who is actually good, unlike Bean. This is the rookie QB success formula.
  2. they are, but they are hardly the only unique atmosphere in college football. I married a PSU grad, you'd think by talking to PSU grads that they have never attended other football games (we have a white out, wow, look at our student section. Okay, yeah, it's a sweet atmosphere, but so are most big college programs) --this sounded like a dick response and wasn't indented to be. Not at you, but at some of the PSU-cult like people I know. And I know Bama, OSU, etc. all have these same annoying cult- like fans also.
  3. Bean is great at drafting, average players.
  4. moved away, but never cheated with hometown team (PIT). Just the Bills missed the playoffs for 17 straight years, so come playoff time, I had someone to cheer for, but not before then. And dammit, that 2004 Bills v. Steelers game when I went up to the game with a horribly annoying (long time ago ex) gf who was a know-nothing Steelers fan. Anyway, Long-Distance, and win 5. 1 is not enough after losing 4 in a row!
  5. I have 1-3, but they will be important drives.
  6. thanks, appreciate the insight! I get the coaches issue there. But then, shouldn't they practice more than one scheme all week, and shouldn't pro players be able to adapt. Just seems like most coaches are way too stubborn.
  7. i hope you are right, but odd they didn't do this the first time we played the colts? good analysis, but it was insane not to try so something different as the game went on.
  8. pretty sure Brady started whining the minute he was in the league. And Allen has earned the right to complain about late hits, IMO. He's in the freaking running for MVP.
  9. well, it's also on Bean, the OL has been terrible. But I agree, JA needs to stop throwing bad INTs like last game regardless of the pressure and Daboll needs to call better plays. (more balance).
  10. you can lose literally any STUD on your team and still win a SB. The Giants lost Phil Simms, they beat us with Hostetler. Think about that! The Eagles lost Wentz, who was having a stud season, then proceeded to beat everyone including the unbeatable Pats to win a SB. If you can't lose a stud CB and still have a chance, you never had a chance to begin with.
  11. two different responses. One was in reply to a poster who implied that since White was special, Jackson couldn't be. That's total nonsense. They could both be special. The second was in response to the "our season is over" type of posts. That is nonsense. Even if Jackson is average, our season isn't over if we are a well-constructed and coached team. Yep, if we actually had a DL that could generate pressure. We'll find out what we are made of soon, if this creates a failure, it's on Bean's terrible job fixing the DL.
  12. And Brady has been bitching at the refs since he got into the league over getting looked at funny from DEs. The NFL needs to protect all its QB's, esp. it's "marquee" ones. This was a total failure by that ref. And refs should be fined for missing stuff like this, but they won't, because they have a ref's union, which is totally absurd.
  13. why can’t they both be great/special? this, exactly. D’s and teams lose a stud or two during the year. You want the SB, you need to be able to survive this.
  14. SB teams often lose a stud during the season. If this sinks our team, we don’t have a well constructed team.
  15. NO offense is awful when missing its all pro LT and RB.
  16. when he has to be the entire offense he does
  17. OL sucks two times in a row
  18. Ford is worse, but Dawkins is also a problem. Glad Bean paid him a ton of money to be average at best.
  19. This OL is just awful. And this is without the Saints other top end DL.
  20. Saints too banged up and Bills take advantage. Bills 41-10.
  21. all these ppl from buffalo or are there a lot of bills fans in Nola?
  22. Injury updates. Nola missing a ton of important players. And better players than Brown and Star. No excuses for Buffalo. https://www.nola.com/sports/saints/article_c04e93f0-4ca5-11ec-8a1f-db00d9e69752.html
  23. put him on. Zero excuse to have McKenzie returning another kick.
  24. what is “allowing pressure” and “sack” rate directly correlate to OL play. Could it be Allen getting rid of the ball faster? How is the run blocking?
  25. Bean is bad at drafting, esp early when he at best gets average instead of difference makers in rd 1-2.
