  1. stop it. Stop advertising for Brady. Mods: close this thread. Keep Brady here
  2. I'll give it a try: New England Patriots - Mike Vrabel - If he goes elsewhere, this is a HUGE lose for the Pats**. He is a winning coach and can build a program. Seems like a good fit for NE. I don't like this because he makes the Pats formidable. New York Jets - Rex Ryan. The Jets are going to Jets. Rex will sell them on his time there going to two AFC Championship games, and provide a bevy of excuses for his following years there and in Buffalo. Also, really hope this happens. Chicago Bears - Todd Monken - I think Johnson stays away from this division and rookie-laden team. He has a better option below. Monken jumps on the chance to coach a young QB and have a HC job, and the Bears are happy to have someone who ran a great offense in Balt. Another option is Carrol. The Bears here want someone who can get the most out of their young team. Once Carrol has the team up to par, they can transition to another HC. New Orleans Saints - Kellen Moore- Brady won't get the gig yet, nor will he want to leave for this job. Moore has been at several places around the NFL as an OC and will be able to harness that, build a great staff, and keep the Saints running. Another option: David Shaw, a great coach at Standford until an inability to recruit got them. He would also be able to assemble a staff and pull a quick turn around. Jacksonville Jaguars - Ben Johnson- Agree that the Jags wan an offensive mind, and they get on here. Johnson gets a team with good talent (for a team with a HC opening). He is intrigued in trying to resurrect T. Lawrence. Las Vegas Raiders - Byron Leftwich-The raiders want a steady hand who is offensive minded. Leftwich is that. Other options that could assemble a staff to turn this mess around include Flores, David Shaw.
  3. Rex + Rodgers + Jets =Awesome. Are they eligible for the HBO show again??
  4. For anyone who can access the WSJ, this is a very interesting article on how the Rams rebuilt their DL almost entirely on 0-star recruits. https://www.wsj.com/sports/football/nfl-playoffs-rams-vikings-jared-verse-braden-fiske-3d9a49c9?mod=latest_headlines Perhaps there are some of these types of guys in next years draft for us. Any draftniks on here have ideas?
  5. Video shows 2 things: (1) Allen is the best QB in the NFL (2) We still need to draft or get a #1 WR in FA. I'd like to keep Brady and get talent. The best offenses appear to have consistency at OC and at least one elite player in addition to QB.
  6. If you are Steelers, what do you do at QB next year? I’m thinking they should keep Fields and draft a guy at some point. No point in tying up money in Wilson. Use it for a WR and trade Pickens
  7. this does make the Steelers game more interesting. I’m guessing a low scoring game. What happened to Flowers anyway?
  8. if the hotel is refundable and flights go back to credits (that you will use), do it now.
  9. this is the internet, sir!
  10. this now becomes a battle of what job is worse: Cle OC, or Jets HC. Likely Cleveland OC given the likelihood of being their 3rd scapegoat in 3 years.
  11. glad to have him back for the postseason. Need him as a DT rotational piece.
  12. Bishop has been a disappointment, IMO. Taking bad angles still and not being where he needs to be on a given play. Hamlin is not a "game winner" at safety, but he's not going to be out of place and cost you a game-changing play either.
  13. perhaps for WR. Reminds me of that hilarious commercial for I forget what brand where the diva WR is drafted, celebrates, and falls down the stairs.
  14. I thought they fixed it...apparently not. Total nonsense. true....but is this a promotion??
  15. yeah, over the year it looks like he's not a #1 WR, that's fine. He looks like a great #2 WR to me. I'd still go after that #1 X guy in the draft or FA.
  16. Peterson would be great, IMO. Would like some consistency for JA. An OC who was a HC may provide that.
  17. wow, those matchups are almost like a bye week. Although Skylar did a decent job as I recall. Would like to see us pound Denver and rest starters by 4th quarter. that OL and DL looked totally different in Det than the week prior.
  18. I'm going to take Chargers over Texans, followed by Packers over Eagles.
  19. can they just give Miller the bonus without playing him?
  20. agree. I’d trade 1 or 2 firsts for him. And , a decent amount of the positions we need to fill can generally be found later (rb, 1 tech, cb, lb).
  21. 8m a year okay, but would rather target a WR or DT fa than overpay at RB.
  22. still, have to sit him. Dude needs to be healthy for the playoffs.
  23. I do find this interesting. Perhaps post October 1 or November. 1 games vs. playoff teams.
  24. fair point. Would be interesting in obvious pass downs I guess.
