  1. I would love to do this because I’d get two mock picks, but I can’t see the Steelers trading the current face of the franchise. I think there is also significant dead cap or something. I wanted TJ here and others explained that it was basically impossible no matter what we offered.
  2. Steelers, Eagles, or KC in no particular order of preference. Or any team. thanks for running another round!
  3. Allen wore a Brady jersey???
  4. With the 60th selection, the Bucs select Cole Strange, OG, Chattanooga. The Bucs have lost both of their OGs from last season, and while they filled one via trade with the Pats**, they are very thin here. To keep the running game going and Brady upright, they need an OG. Despite Strange coming from a small school, the Bucs pick him because of his performance at the Senior Bowl, and because the Bucs last IOL picks have come from no higher than Division II. This is a great fit, and it would be strange to pass on him (see what I did there!) The 49ers @BigdaddyinOrlando are on the clock.
  5. DT Leal. Bucky Brooks No 2 rated DT. Brooks says, “Leal is an active interior defender with outstanding athleticism and play-making ability. He has the capacity to neutralize the run as a power player while flashing enough agility and finesse to impact the game as an inside pass rusher.” was he asked to defend the pass? if not, perhaps its something he can learn? Those testing numbers are wild.
  6. the last point often gets overlooked. If there is a legit run game and fear of it, the WRs will get open quicker, allowing Josh to get rid of the ball faster. Plus, some of the OL come from run-centric offenses. Perhaps Queensberry is a good pass blocker?
  7. Tanny holding ball too long?
  8. With the 27th selection, the Bucs select Devonte Wyatt, DT, Georgia. The Bucs are not missing many pieces, but are down Suh on their DL. Wyatt went to the Bucs for a pre draft visit and this is a great match of BPA and need. The Packers @GunnerBill are on the clock.
  9. Tampa is loaded at WR, TE and D. Give Allen that WR cast and we’d have 2 SB’s. I’m not overly impressed with Brady’s play lately. Cupcake division and on a loaded team, just like when on Pats wouldn’t like Allen to leave Buffalo at the end of his career because the team he is on is falling apart.
  10. competency is not required for the Browns anyway😜
  11. I’ll take Lions, KC, or Bucs. Really any team is fine. Thanks for putting this together again.
  12. I agree that center and guard are a need. Morse ranked poorly and could get hurt. We fix the OL are average backs may perform slightly better, I would draft one but there does not seem like a great option in Rd 1-2. I’d take WR higher. Davis had a good year, but adding another top talent puts more pressure on the secondary and also helps the run game. TE not so much, Knox has turned it on a d OJ Howard is a great No 2.
  13. Joe Haden!!!! Jerry & Joe.
  14. Going with Tyler Linderbaum here. The best center prospect ever graded by PFF. Former Wrestling all-star. We need a franchise Center, can move Morse to Guard, and be ready to rock on the OL. Gives Allen more time to pass, helps with the run as well. I'd take Linderbaum. He was a beast in the Big 10. Will provide the offense with the best Center prospect they may have a chance to get during Allen's tenure. Morse was also not great last season.
  15. not sure what you mean here. I said the OPs point was that it is bizarre to believe God would give you a sign based on the shorts/underwear you have on--or that God cares what team he is on.
  16. I really like him. I think he’s be a day 1 starter and 10 year player. Making a big board is hard haha Great point. I’d still go Landon over either of these two because of a win-now need, and not sure if either will be day 1 contributor. I could be totally wrong. I think both are gone by 25.
  17. This is awesome. Props to the OP. For this round I went with Landon, just fills out our WR room with a big, tough WR. I like some of the OL and CBs as well.
  18. Not the OPs point. Trusting that God gives signs based on the shorts/underwear you are wearing as a sign is beyond ridiculous. Or believing that God will give him a sign at all is nonsense. Perhaps God simply does not care what team he chooses.
  19. Tax payers where? Not the ones who run businesses near the stadium and depend in large part on those home games and out of town revenue. yahoo news in general is just negative. Try finding a positive story.
  20. Haha. You are good at it. So Pro Football reference. Anywhere else I should look for good geek stuff?? Any good place to read on draft prospects besides PFF?
  21. Thanks!!. Did you used to be a scout or something ? You have a ridiculous knowledge about this stuff!!
  22. the market is really larger (not tv wose perhaps). Many fans who moved out of NYS who live in Western Pa, Ohio, etc who routinely travel up for games. Not to mention the crazy Canadians. Imagine Sundays in the fall for hotel, bar, restaurant, etc owners without the Bills. One reason a Dome made more sense to me was to use it year round for large concerts, etc. other cities don’t have the large Southern Ontario market hanging there. I believe that markets for other teams take into account nearby areas, but Canada may not be factored into “largest American market”
