ideally we only have to part with a 2nd or 3rd. For a team like Carolina, they need all the draft capital they can get. If someone offers a 2nd they should take it. Esp. with Moss thrown in.

I would trade a 1st for him. It upgrades the RB room in a huge way, and he comes in under cap. 1st and Moss. The 1st is basically a 2nd. We can find a good OL in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. Bean does not waste picks in the late rounds, so losing a 1st is not the travesty it would be for most teams. With CMC this offense is ridiculous. He also may get injured less when he is not counted upon to be the main guy in an offense.

totally agree. Refs should not be part of a game. A good ref should be basically invisible. Making calls, and while some will be bad from time to time, overall hitting on the clearly obvious ones like this one. That's why he will never be the GOAT. He career has been aided numerous times by officials.

in fairness, he wasn't given much to work with. A carousel of mediocre (at best) QBs. nothing wrong with that. Some people are better college coaches, some better NFL coaches, some better coordinators, HCs, etc. I think he'll be back as a top college coach soon.

meat-head Ref had to be pulled back from other refs from going after a player. Ref should be suspended. AJ didn't know he was elbowing a ref when trying to get Lawson out of there. If you are a ref and can't handle inadvertent contact without loosing it, you shouldn't be a ref.

was a huge hole, but he hit it quickly, and made a nice cut move on the defender. Need to see more of this, and vision when the first hole is not there.

I would like to see Keenum get some reps in with the 1st team offense. It's good practice in case it comes to that. He likely gets no reps with the 1s during the week, and some game reps would be valuable. I would have kept the 1st team on with him for a drive or two.
