  1. Here is today's. I like this one a lot. We get basically a great receiver in Rd. 1, followed up by a fantastic IOL in the 2nd, a potential bell-cow RB in the 3rd, solidify the DL in 4 and 6th, and add a future safety in the 5th.
  2. happy to take another team also if needed. come on everyone take on. its fun.!
  3. Sure thing. I could do Dolphins and Rams
  4. Steelers, Dolphins, Chargers
  5. well, the part about the police being at his house the night before the game should be easy to verify. I'd be in a police record and/or neighbors would likely have told someone. But they could have bene there for any number of reasons unrelated to this rumor (false alarm, etc.)
  6. Virgil, draft season MVP!
  7. With the 99th pick the Falcons select A.T. Perry, WR Wake Forrest. The Falcons upgrade its WR room, giving Riddler a big and fast option who is great at catching slightly off target balls to pare with London and Pitts. The Raiders @HappyDays are on the clock.
  8. how was Zavala not invited to the combine!! I agree, likely 3rd round pick there. Thanks for mentioning this guy, never heard of him before. Looks like the only knock is size, I think Nick Bolton had that draft issue also. Could be a solid Rd. 3-4 guy.
  9. Yes, Josh needs to go off, but for that to happen against top teams we need: (1) develop a threatening running game; (2) improve the OL; (3) improve WR beyond Diggs; (4) make passing game more unpredictable, involving TE’s, RB and WR in it. This can actually be accomplished next year with individual player improvement, OC improvement, and good drafting. On D we need to stay healthy, including Von getting back to health. Having another DT or backup safety would be nice, but not necessary. Also, perhaps Oliver goes nuts in a contract year.
  10. Close between Battle and Zavala for me, but we need a guard next year, so Zavala wins. Allowed only 4 pressures last year.
  11. I’m more worried about the OT from Oklahoma, seems he needs another year to be ready. I think Jones may fit here due to his athletic ability that goes well with a running/mobile QB. Not my top OT choice and may prefer a G/C like Avila over him.
  12. yeah if this was TX C I’d be more concerned. This is cool. Mike Piazza used to go to bars and play drums after games in San Diego (at least one time I was there).
  13. why the need to transition to safety? too short for CB?
  14. yeah, no way Pickens is being traded. He and Pickett are going to be a thing for a while.
  15. Bernard: who, why? We have LBs. Basham: what, we just drafted a DE, and the top IOL is on the board, and we need OL help. TJ Grham: Really thought we would draft R. Wilson. What a terrible, awful pick, trading up and then grabbing a JAG receiver.
  16. With the 75th selection, the Atlanta Falcons select Nick Herbig, Edge, Wisconsin. The Falcons still need an upgrade at their pass rush, and while Herbig is a bit of a "Tweener", unlike Maybin, he has multiple years of solid production at Wisconsin. Also, he can drop into coverage, another area where the Falcons have needs. The Ravens @NeverOutNickare on the clock.
  17. Falcons pick upcoming now.
  18. her, hey now!
  19. Good list, but Joey Porter Jr. is an interesting addition. I hear he has issues with playing the ball rather than the receiver (very sticky in coverage, but not elite ball skills). Of course, I haven't watched him almost at all, and he does seem like someone you could flip to safety if the ball skills become an issue. I'd put the OT from Northwestern (who I can't spell) in here also. I think he is at worst an above-average OT/OG, and pans out to be a pro-bowl type OG. Freeney had the issue of being small, that' why he went #11 (as I recall). I think the NW OT/G becomes a stud following the draft this year. I think B. Robinson is better than Portis.
  20. I totally agree, I'd rather have an A. Donald than a space eater. But DTs who can provide consistent pressure seem to be nearly nonexistent these days, and a space eating DT allows a LB to provide a rush, and/or take a blocker away from a DE like Miller and Groot, and/or push the blocker into the pocket. There are a few "athletic" space eaters that appear to be available later in the draft.
  21. yes, then draft a space eating DT in rd 3-5.
  22. I don’t know, depends how defective the breaks were. Also likely not the drivers job but the company/maintenance vendors job to ensure breaks were correct. This won’t bring back Haskins, but driving a large vehicle like that without appropriate breaks puts everyone on the highway in danger.
  23. perhaps best non OL draft I have seen.
  24. I wanted OBJ, but this is insane.
  25. After getting no rush against Bengals backup OL we need DT help. Would love Mazzi Smith but he likely goes too high for a blocker/space eater. The DTs from Texas, Wake and Wisconsin come up up in my mocks. Can’t recall their names.
