I like this pick, but WR A.T. Perry should have been the pick here, and go back into 4th if needed to get Williams, or get another guy. I don’t love it, but don’t hate it.
the NFL draftbuzz article accidentally calls him Milano, so that’s good?
i like this pick, but seems too early with the DT talent. Good news is some space eating DT should be around later.
I think Klien on running and Williams on passing downs.
Here is mine from PFF, although I cannot copy and paste.
2nd: Joe Tippmann, C-Wisconsin
3rd: Karl Brooks, Edge, Bowling Green
4th: Kobie Turner, DI, Wake Forest
6th: Jon Gaines II, G, UCLA.
I agree re: OL. 2nd OL run is coming. Hopefully could be offset if someone wants Mayer, Levis and Hooker. Otherwise we may need to trade up for Bergeruon or Avila.
I hope you are correct. WR and OL are still needed and have better available players at this time than LB. Get a LB later in the draft like Dorian Williams.
I think you go after Avila here. Can play C, G or even RT. I can’t imagine going into the season with Brown as the starter and no competition or at least a safety play backup in case he does not put it together. Avila provides a backup to Morse, and likely starts at G. Can play RT also.
Thanks. I hope your right about it being more creative this year. It was hard to watch the playcalling last year. Perhaps due to personnel, but the lack of running at all and misuse of Knox concerns me.
I understand that’s who they wanted, but Mayer is likely better, and did not require a trade up. I hope I’m wrong and we got a stud, I just don’t know that Dorsey knows what to do with 1 TE, let alone 2.
if used as slot that’s a potential. Beasley replacement?
