Coy Wire on Atlanta Radio this morning
Ronin replied to DC Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
LMAO And we needed Wire to imply that? That's common knowledge. -
Houston is 2-0 if they make the playoffs....

Who says we're not going to make the playoffs. BILL-IEVE! -
Oh please! Stop already.

Nothin' but the best for Bills fans!

Obvious weaknesses you witnessed tonight ?

The ability to play organized football. -
Many don't. In places like this you're going to get a skewed indicator as to who does. My guess is that there are a lot of fans that are not as serious as we are and others that like to discuss the team actively and they buy tickets strictly as entertainment value, and while they want the team to win, don't get all upset when they don't. Otherwise how do you explain it? I mean what sort of person that's really interested in watching a well managed team actually pays to see this stuff? I don't know, just asking, because I agree that it's a waste of money. I'd rather spend the money on taking the family to a theme park or something. I was offered free tickets to last night's game which would have been several hours of a drive for me, and I didn't accept and after seeing it on TV I'm glad I didn't. It would have been a waste of time even if I lived right around the corner. Buffalo may not even have a team in 2012. Next year looks like a lockout or another one of those scrub player years. Wilson's living on borrowed time. It should be interesting to see which team it is that's going public for 30% ownership in September if that's really true.

It's LSD. I think that morphine is the call for this season though.

Theisman summed it up best I thought when he said that the offense had no speed. They looked slow and lethargic out there, even the first unit. Rex Grossman looked like Drew Brees out there on a drive where it seemed that only the secondary made all the tackles. The defense sucked last year because we couldn't stop the run or rush the passer and that only looks like it's gotten worse. And if the special teams don't make a complete turnaround in three weeks, the mainstay of our team's performance over the last bunch of years will vanish altogether questioning on what basis they'll win many games. They'll probably win a few off teams dragging themselves into the Ralph again with worse problems than us. So what. They obviously still can't stop the run, still have no pass rush, have no QB, still have questionable coaching, and now their special teams are in question too. They were pitiful last night on special teams. They're not going to improve by scrimmaging themselves, the starters will probably play a half in the next game, a quarter in week three, hardly at all in week four, and where the improvement is going to come from by the start of the regular season with less than four quarters of playing time should be interesting.
-
At what time of the year does the complete apathy usually set in for you?
-
The defense sucks and we should expect that it will be awful in the regular season too. Special teams has carried this team but it looks like that era may be coming to an end unless they were playing possum last night.
-
YEAH! And we showed him.

LOL Forget the hundreds of other people with stuff to contribute that have come here and been treated even worse. I guess it only matters when it happens to a Tim Graham. You get what you deserve.

Should we hope the bills lose games, like Jerry Sullivan said?
Ronin replied to Hossage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To All Here, Here's the problem with the above statement and the rest of the big-man fan talk, instead of taking it up with Sully, someone that has absolutely no control, or who has only been critical of the team's moves to put together the sh!& product that they have, shouldn't this be your (and the other heroes') position towards the top 20 people in the Front Office? Instead, people like Sully, whom you criticize, have offered sound advice to the team which if followed wouldn't have the team in the abyss that it's in. Yet you'll defend the team's leadership and FO people that are really at fault. If there is a reason to hope that the team loses games, then it's hopefully to get rid of the retards at OBD, because even if they get a franchise QB, they won't know what to do with him anymore than a dog would know what to do with a washing machine besides piss on it. And here some (not sure if you) go again with Gailey and Modkins and Edwards. Two years from now it'll be wash, rinse, repeat time again. -
In Case you were wondering why we drafted Spiller 9th
Ronin replied to Skoobydum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Now you're just talking crazy. LOL -
It's also equally likely that Gailey isn't any better than Jauron.
-
Because he's poised.

And what, 4 TDs too. And think, if he only does that 6 times he'll have 2,400 AP yards and 24 TDs. -

Bob Matthews: How The 2010 Bills Can Make The Playoffs
Ronin replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Let's hope so. I definitely think he's the best on the team. If not, well, that would be pretty sad. -
He was very entertaining, but you hit the nail on the head, he wasn't really a winner in the NFL. He had plenty of chances to show his stuff in the NFL before coming to Buffalo and never did.
-
Yes. He also said much more favorable things about Mirer back in the day. Great career he had.
-
Isn't it incumbent upon the scouting staff to research this prior to consuming a day one draft pick on a guy? This was all known long before they picked him.

Saying that Gailey should be a better gameday coach than Jauron is like saying he'd be a better gameday coach than the autopilot in the movie Airplane. It doesn't really shed a lot of light on things. -
You think, with scoring totals of 10, 13, and 16. LOL And some wonder why so many Bills fans have over hyped ideas of how good the team actually is every year.
