  1. Give up a second for a guy who, in your own words, we won't be able to sign? Unless he is willing to sign an extension with the Bills, then no way should they trade any high pick for him.
  2. Think about it. Do the so called experts have the ability to scout kids from small programs? They can only do so much. Do they have a team of scouts that go to schools and evaluate the kids? It's only natural that these Draft "experts" would see alot more of the kids from the big time programs. Now if the Bills had selected a kid from a big time program that most thought was a reach then I would be more worried. I don't think it will take much time to see if the Bill's scouts got it right.
  3. Exactly, who wants a legitimate run stopper if your draft doesn't get a good grade from the experts
  4. Nix and company will be kept even if they go 2-14
  5. I agree, that was frustrating to watch
  6. They didn't draft Spiller to be a backup
  7. He will evaluate three. He will be developing the fourth guy. There is no way troy brown is in the mix for starting. He's a project. Hopefully one that pans out.
  8. The rebuild is off to a great start because they didn't reach for a franchise QB that wasn't there. The rebuild is off to a great start because we'll probably draft high enough next year to get one of the two studs.
  9. Are you trying to imply that Edwards is a coward? LOL
  10. And move Wood to his natural position, center
  11. I think we can take Gailey at his word. All three will get a shot to step up and become the starter. If Edwards can return to the guy he was before that concussion, then I give him the early edge to win the job. I think we pretty much know what we get from Fitz. An intelligent guy with an average arm and probably a career backup. Brohm is a wildcard. We really don't know what we will get from him.He was highly touted but fell out of favor in Greenbay. Maybe this is a much needed fresh start for him.
  12. nice idea except no one gives up a second for lynch
  13. Well said.
  14. If jerry thinks the best thing for the Bills to do is bottom out, then why complain about them not picking a top QB prospect? I think the Bills did the right thing not picking a QB when there was no clear franchise QB available when they picked. I think they have their eyes on next years draft class. The Bills will try to win this year, but it will be with who they have right now. Meaning they won't win much. Building throught he draft means some painful years. The Bills know this and are prepared to go through a couple of bad years. I know this may not be what many fans want to hear , especially after a decade of incompetance but this is what we're in for.
  15. that's only three games my friend.....they also get to play 6 games in the division, minnesota, chicago, greenbay, pittsburgh.....I can't see the Bills being any better than 5 wins
  16. It's going to be a long 2 to 3 years. And if the rebuilding through the draft doesn't pan out, it's going to be another long decade.
  17. yes, Spiller can do it all
  18. sorry, don't take offense
  19. Maybe the Bills trade down , pick up a pick and then draft Spiller.
  20. Can't really argue that point, since he hasn't , but i can look at some of the highlight reels on Spiller and be amazed at his talent, albeit at the college level. Lynch has had enough off the field problems and lack of success on the field to make me think there is no way Spiller wouldn't be an upgrade. But you're right, he hasn't done it in the pros yet.
  21. how did you come to this evaluation? he certainly didn't play enough last year. was it from his college tapes?
  22. You think Spiller is a huge downgrade from Lynch? WOW!!
