  1. From the Bleacher report................ Jonathan Daniel/Getty Images Pick: Manti Te'o, Linebacker, Notre Dame The Buffalo Bills defense has talent but appears to lack leadership. Notre Dame’s Manti Te’o is the type of player that can step in and help in that area. Te’o is an aggressive, smart and tough middle linebacker prospect. His play is one of the main reasons Notre Dame is in contention for the National Title
  2. 1 STL Bradford, Sam, QB, Oklahoma 2 DET Suh, Ndamukong, DT, Nebraska 3 TB McCoy, Gerald, DT, Oklahoma 4 WAS Williams, Trent, OT, Oklahoma 5 KC Berry, Eric, SS, Tennessee 6 SEA Okung, Russell, OT, Oklahoma State 7 CLE Haden, Joe, CB, Florida 8 OAK McClain, Rolando, LB, Alabama 9 BUF Spiller, C.J., RB, Clemson That's the order, what do you all think?
  3. I agree under present ownership. But if we were lucky enough to get an owner like Terry Pegula, the whole atmosphere would change. I think someone like that could change the entire culture and outside perception of this team. It all comes from the top
  4. I agree, and back then teams could build and keep their own players. Free agency has watered down the league. The Bills were solid in most areas whereas the Patriots have obvious flaws, mostly on defense. I think all the top teams back then could beat this Patriot team.
  5. Fire myself for creating this disaster..
  6. LOL, they win just enough to screw up the draft position.
  7. Yet he doesn't go for it on a fourth and one from the twelve when the Titans couldn't stop the run game and the defense was a sieve. He knew when they were down 21-14 that our defense couldn't stop them, yet he goes conservative at that time. That's four points he ceded to an equally inept defense. Because he has to show everyone that his decision to go all in with Fitz was the right decision. Unfortunately for him, he's only proving that it was a horrible decision.
  8. Mario Wiliams seemed to me to be coasting on many plays Sunday. He was not double teamed, and when Moore went to that side, he put more pressure on the qb than Williams did. You're absolutely right, this signing is going to have lasting repercusions on this team. He is clearly a bust and now the team will be in salary cap jail because of it. At what point do they cut ties with this guy? How long are we stuck with him?
  9. Fitz did play the hand he was dealt. Unfortunately, as many here know, he is unable to play it in a way that an elite quarterback can. He came up small when the team needed him to come up big. Why does he continue to make poor decisions at the most inopportune times? He has proven oven the last year that he is not a good quarterback. He has some good moments, but when it is crunch time, he is bad. Look at the last drive of the game. Pathetic. Yes the defense is horrible, but that fact doesn't absolve Fitz.
  10. Chan is part of the problem. He refuses to make a move at defensive coordenator. He will go down with Wanny. Also if , as Kelsay says, some players are going at half speed, then Chan is responsible to address it. He's the head coach and he is responsible for what happens on the entire team, not just the offense.
  11. He won't get cut anytime soon. Plus they need two quality running backs. As we've already seen, they get injured. I do think Spiller needs more touches than he's been getting. He's a breakaway threat anytime he touches the football.
  12. I think David Lee should have left Fitz's mechanics alone. To try and change a guy at that age is just asking for trouble. Fitz was better last year before his injury than he is now. Instead of working on his mechanics, he should have concentrated on the mental aspects of the game and making better decisions. In other words, make him a better quarterback instead of trying to make him a better passer. Right now, Fitz looks like he has regressed badly in his ability to throw the football. Trying to tweak his mechanics has produced an awful passer.
  13. Would this be considered child abuse?
  14. Gailey was standing by Fitz while the team still had opportunities to find a new quarterback to compete with him. They didn't draft one. So, to say the reason he is standing by Fitz is because he has no other options? I don't agree. Gailey has put all his chips in on Fitz and it's looking like a bad bet right now.
  15. LOL c'mon , he hasn't dropped any this year
  16. Imagine what Stevie could do with a QB that was accurate and could throw a deep ball
  17. No, he's done...let him take the brace off himself and leave it at the front desk on his way out
  18. She looks like a good fit but does she whine if she gets pushed in the face?
  19. Yes, it's definately not that they lost but how they lost that's most distressing. I seriously wonder how thay can recover from those last two losses. I have been a fan for over 40 years and those are probably the worst two losses back to back I've ever experienced as a fan. They almost made me want to quit being a fan.
  20. When a team gets handled two weeks in a row like these guys have been handled, there has to be some questioning in the locker room. Either these players now know and accept they are just not in the the same league as teams like the Pats and Niners, or they question scheme and coaching. They can't be naive to what the real problem is. They know better than we do. Persoanlly I think we have horrible schemes and coaching. Rex Ryan clearly outcoached the Bills also. Maybe we have less talent than I thought but I think we should have been able to compete better against the teams we lost to. We should not have lost that badly. I've seen less talented teams compete more effectively.
  21. I don't think he's trying to play a game. I think football is way more than a game to him and it's difficult for him to accept a player, who is being paid very well to call it such. In reality professional football is much more than a game. It is big business and people take it very seriously. It hurts fans, who have loved the sport for so long and have rooted for their home team for so long to hear a player imply that the game is not that important to him. For good or bad, pro football is way more than a game for many folks. I am not judging if that is a good thing or a bad thing. We all have our opinions on that subject , but for many it is way more than agame. As far as Dareus making that comment, I cannot in good conscience be angry with him for it. He just lost his brother in a senseless shooting. Who can blame Dareus for taking that view on footabll at a time when he has lost a loved one? I feel bad for him and give him credit for even playing after such a personal tragedy. I would be shocked if he was able to play at his best level after this.
