  1. The Bills had some real doozies...Linebacker Tom Ruud, defensive end Phil Dokes, running back Booker Moore, and DE Erik Flowers
  2. Never thought anything to do with Wilfork would bring out sentimentality on this board.
  3. Makes one wonder how any team can keep a decent roster. Seems the only solution is a Great Quarterback who has a high cap number and a team filled with mostly reasonable priced very good players. This places a premium on drafting good players and then winning during their first contracts before they hit that second contract and want big money. Also, I have to say, for what the Bills have and most likely will get out of Mario Williams, the contact is a cap albatross. With the cap situation in the game today, a team cannot have their biggest cap hits being defensive ends who do not dominate and are not game changers. It takes a savvy general mangager to run a team and I'm not sure the Bills that.
  4. Does anyone seriously think the NFL will open it's year with the Buffalo Bills? They want ratings. The Bills have no chance to be scheduled for that game.
  5. The Bills have extended the Toronto deal
  6. Why are you picking on Ted Washington?
  7. I love Matt Scott. He has a strong arm, he's mobile and accurate. He could be the next Russell Wilson. Last season he was around 195 pounds but finished this year at 212. So I don't think his weight will be an issue. I really hope the Bills get him. I'm pretty sure he will be moving up the draft boards.
  8. Week Six? Why not just wait until week 16?
  9. I tried to enter a link to the bleacher report, but I got a message saying the moderator doesn't alow links fron that site. I wonder why? Anyway, it was an interesting article on whether Nassib is the best quarterback in the draft.
  10. I'm not sure. I'm just glad it was brought up in case it wasn't mentioned before
  11. I remember waiting in line to get into that bar. I remember the girls would take their shirts off when they spun the wheel and passed the bottle around.
  12. The top tight ends are gone. Seems like the Bills didn't even make a play for one. If they don't get Moore to play guard, not sure what's left.
  13. Why would an 82 year old buy a professional sports franchise?
  14. Not a chance do the Bills go after Urlacher. It's wasted space even talking about it.
  15. I agree with your assessment. I hope the Bills get him.
  16. He kind of proves your point on how he went out
  17. To be completely fair, if the Bills had the Bengal's defense, Fitz may have taken the Bills to the playoffs also. Just saying....
  18. Oh Who gives a Tuck how many times
  19. The Bills haven't drafted enough quarterbacks to make a lemon drop.
  20. Play on a winner, but if I was 37 again, I might feel differently
  21. How can you say they didn't need him anymore? Look at the roster. Of course they wanted to keep him. I think it came out that they wanted to drop him to 3 millioan with the possibility of incentives to take him back up to around 7. If he renegotiated, it would have helped the cap too. It was in both of their interest to restructure. He refused to take a paycut. It was hurt feelings. In my opinion, with the way he played, he practically stole 21 milion from the team already. No one was going to pay him to start on any other team. He played a game of chicken with the Bills knowing that they were in a bad situation. He lost, the Bils cut him. How much will I be paid and can I make that money working somewhere else? Especially if I knew I had just been paid way more than I was worth for two years and did not do a very good job leading the project.
  22. He was too damn stubborn to just renegotiate his deal here. If he had, he probably would be making more money than he is getting from Tennessee. His ego just couldn't allow him to take a pay cut here. He showed his true colors with this move if you ask me.
