  1. Great Signing http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737204/da
  2. Got to love the Rogers signing http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737204/da
  3. 04/24/2013 - 2013 NFL DRAFT RANG'S GANG: Wide Receiver: Da'Rick Rogers, Tennessee Tech, 6-3, 217, 4.50...In terms of physical talent, Rogers might just be the best wide receiver in this draft class. The number of mishaps he had at Tennessee which led to his abrupt dismissal by then-head coach Derek Dooley and Rogers' transfer to Tennessee Tech is the reason he'll slide on draft day. Boasting a superb combination of size, athleticism and toughness, Rogers can be a Pro Bowler if he is committed to the game. - Rob Rang, NFLDraftScout
  4. I love your thought process. I would love this to play out like you say, but I don't think it will happen
  5. This thread reminds me of 1985 when the Bills drafted Bruce Smith first overall when many wanted them to pick Doug Flutie. They made the right pick that year. On a side note, they did blow it when they drafted Derrick Burroughs at number 14, two picks before Jerry Rice was selected by the 49ers. I think Flutie was taken in round 11 by the rams, lol.
  6. When was the last time a guard was taken in the top ten?
  7. When is the draft again?
  8. Nix was promoted to GM in December of 2009, so he only hired one head coach, Chan Gailey. It can be argued that Ralph Wilson ( and those who have his ear) made this hire more so than Buddy Nix did.
  9. I don't think Chan had it out for Easley. He was too worried about saving his job and wasn't concerned about the future.
  10. I'm pretty sure he was giving you his opinion
  11. I'd be shocked if they pick Nassib at #8
  12. Wow, you're watching games from 2004 in your spare time?
  13. I remember Charles Romes dropped an interception shorly before Fouts threw the winning touchdown pass. I agree, they go to the superbowl that year if Fergy was healthy or Romes catches that interception
  14. Are you comfortable with the other glaring holes in this team that they can draft a position where they have two capable starters?
  15. LOL, that will be interesting to see which side wins out.
  16. The Bills have a right tackle. They have so many other glaring holes, I doubt they go after a position they already feel good about.
  17. So we agree that diferent people and different sources have varying opinions
  18. Somebody thinks Wood is pretty good ( yes I know it's a year old, but it's all I could find) https://www.atssport...-blog-news.html
  19. Of course he wants to win. It's just not as important to him. I don't agree about the Cowboys of the mid 90's. Those guys cared about winning. Aikmen, Smith and Irvin had a deep desire to win, along with many on that defense like Haley. There is a difference between thinking you're great and putting yourself above the team because you think you're greater than the team. How many Cowboys said they carried the team?
  20. Really? Coming off the achilles injury? And signing Colin Brown for 2 years does what? You have to be joking
  21. I would have to think somone in this draft will rise up and be a great pro. I'm not a guy who studies college football that closely, but am I wrong to think that someone rises every year?
  22. I didn't mean to pin that on you. I should have been clearer. Are You now saying this guy is far and away the most astute fan on this board?
  23. Players signed one year deals last year because they were worried about getting jobs with the tight cap space. Now, the cap has not gone up much and their stuck in the same boat. Most teams don't have alot of cap space and players realise this and want to be working this year so they sign lower one year deals.
  24. Agreed, I just didn't like someone saying he was far and away the best LT in the league
  25. I agree with you that Levy screwed things up, but I still don't agree on how Peters and his agent handled things. It seems to me that Peters really struggled when he got to Philly in the beginning. I also think he's already positioning himself for the next contract. Do you reeally believe that he carried his team, like he said? Yes, football players have short careers and money is important, but teams don't win with a team full of guys like that. A team needs guys who have competive juices who want to win. Peters is saying he's 100% now, but didn't Merrimen say that too? That's a tough injury to rebound from.
