  1. Of course, if the talent is built around them. Look at Aaron Rodgers. How far is he getting without the talent around him. He was a backup for three years before starting . You want to get rid of a guy after his third year? C'mon !!
  2. This rating system is flawed. A good GM is not determined by the amount of pro bowl players that are drafted. It's the quality of the team he has assembled. Pro bowlers are important , yes, but great teams are built on players who have been acquired also by trade and other means.
  3. Yes, he's great in the promotion department.. He does a great job as long as The Pegulas keep him away from the football side of the operation. He sells tickets, which is a very important part of a successful organization. I have a feeling he may be pulling some strings behind the scenes though. I think it's probably very difficult for him to let go of the football decisions. Wasn't he involved in the Rex Ryan hire? And it's been said he's in the draft room and at the scouting combine. It seems unfair that football people are fired for the teams failures but the business side guy remains, even though he is still pulling strings for the football side?
  4. I think it remains to be seen if A J M is an upgrade. The offensive line loses two very good starters and Tyrod would have been able to mask some of the offensive line deficiencies with his feet. Also, the Bills may have the worst group of wide receivers in the league, arguably. I see you're point though. Tyrod didn't exactly inspire me either. I just hope every game this year doesn't resemble the Charger game. A J M is pretty much an unknown at this point. He's a fifth round pick, which has to tell you something. One of the knocks on him was his lack of arm strength. The Bills had better get it right and get their quarterback next week.
  5. Sean Payton didn't see a Carson Wentz in the 2016 draft class either.
  6. Will the Patriots renegotiate his contract? That's the big question. He deserves to be paid as the best tight end in the league. He's below Graham, Kelce and Reed and has 3 years left on his deal.
  7. I think you're right about him retiring if he gets traded. A new contract paying him as the highest paid tight end and to a winning team might change his mind. Maybe
  8. Are you saying that you want Buffalo to trade for Gronk in exchange for $1 million?
  9. Joe Dufek was also good with the media
  10. Just look how good the tank has worked for the Sabres
  11. Anderson is 27 and is coming off a 1000 yard season so he will get plenty of interest from other teams. This was purely a salary cap move by the Broncos. It will save them 4.5 million on the cap. They know it's a running back rich draft and will find his replacement this way at a much cheaper price tag.
  12. I have to agree with this assessment.
  13. Whatever team wants to trade for Gronk would have to be willing to sign him to a new deal. They would also have to seriously consider the fact he has talked retirement. All of this lowers his trade value. I can't see any team giving up a high draft pick for this.
  14. Every city needs a shill. I like him
  15. He may very well go on and play very well for Jacksonville. He got a big signing bonus here and then his play dropped, he was late for practice and just didn't seem to care. I for one am glad they dumped him. He's one strike away from being suspended. He has great ability but seems to lack the drive. Maybe Marrone thinks he can save him. He just wasn't ever going to do it here. It's a shame they get a sixth round pick for a player picked third in the draft. The Bills have made some dubious draft day decisions over the years and this is just one of them. They could have had Julio Jones, A.J.Green, Patrick Peterson or J.J. Watt. But they pick this clown!!
  16. The Patriots losing that perfect season in the Superbowl was sweet.
  17. I don't agree. That pass interference call was wrong I don't agree. That pass interference call was wrong Which brings me to another point. Pass interference calls should probably also be reviewed. Sometimes these calls are game changers. Many are costing teams 40,50 or even more yards. Or go to the college rules and make them 15 yard penalties. Fifty yard penalties on balls that are , many times, thrown up for grabs is not right.
  18. I know people have killed Whaley for taking Lawson because he was injured, but it actually may be the reason Lawson lasted until the Bills pick. If Lawson turns out to be a beast, then it was a stroke of genius. To get a great player and the only downside was losing 6 games then I'm all for it.
  19. I would say he competes against Brady but he doesn't have a winning record against him. So no, he doesn't know how to beat Brady
  20. Oh Wow, you showed more restraint than I would have. I probably would have sent him packing
  21. When it comes to drafting Shaq, maybe the Bills got a player who was top ten talent once he's healthy. Maybe the injury is the reason he fell to the Bills. if he goes on and becomes a great player, then the short time he missed now will look like genius on the part of Whaley. I'm trying to take a positive view of that draft.
  22. Shades drawn, lights out, curled up in a corner sucking my thumb waiting for the worst.
  23. I can feel your frustration. Only Watkins knows if he did the work to rehab properly. Did he try to play thru something he shouldn't have? Did the team push him to try and play when he should have been doing rehab? Was it a football related injury? Does it require more surgery? Is it only a pain issue and if so, why not play?
  24. Coughlin has already proven that frostbite can't beat him, so in the words of Donald Trump, what do they have to lose?
  25. And Buddy Ryan shot JFK
