Good post. We all need to realize and accept that this year will be a rebuilding year. It won't be fun for the fans who expect to win now. It definitely is about grooming Allen, not rushing him. I agree with you. I was a bit shocked at first, thinking the pick was going to be Rosen. I quickly moved on also with the same thoughts. Beane seems to know what he's doing so far and I'm going to trust that he knows better than I do. I sure hope we finally got the franchise quarterback the city deserves.

Did anyone listen to Howard Simon this morning? He hates the pick. Thinks they should have taken Rosen. I don't necessarily agree with him, but those two quarterbacks will be measured against each other here in Buffalo for quite a while. I think Rosen is ahead of Allen at this point but Allen has a big upside. I like what Beane is doing, so my opinion is to trust the process.

I know it would be hard to mess up the first and fourth selections, but I kind of think Cleveland did. Chubb was in my opinion, the guy to pick at number 4. And I'm not sold on Mayfield either. Ward is a good prospect, but a bit undersized. Chubb is a can't miss. Anyone else here think Cleveland might have messed up another draft?

Actually I have been around here for years, I like to read people's opinions on the Bills and sports in general. Every now and then I like to engage and give my opinion. I knew when I brought politics into this , especially Trump, it would probably get a reaction. After all he's the most devisive person ever to hold office. But anyways, I appreciate your honest take. The problem , since corporate tax rates go to 21%, they are now taxed lower than individuals. This would seemingly make the pass through scheme not work. But let's not worry wealthy people, Congress fixed this problem, lol. They made it so income passed through an individual thru a pass through entity and attributed to a sole proprietorship will now be taxed at individual tax rates less a deduction of up to 20% to bring the rate lower. This is just one of the games they play to make this bill make the rich richer. C'mon, don't pretend these politicians are out to benefit the middle class, or the poor among us either for that matter. But that's another argument for another day. Remember when Paul Ryan touted a woman's raise of $1.50 as an example of how the tax plan was working? Not a $1.50 per hour !!!! It was $1.50 per week !!!!! Can he be more out of touch??
