  1. Isn’t coaching the Ravens wide receivers kind of the purgatory of WR coaching?
  2. I really thought he’d be let go anyway. Let’s face it, an evaluation of his work in Buffalo is not positive.
  3. Until the NFL does what they do in college, punks like Fred Warner have no reason to not be punks. “Player safety!” Right?
  4. My take . . . High Priority: Any upgrade on the oline Priority: #2 corner, power & speed RB, run stuffing D Tackle Improve: #2 TE, DB depth, a top tier Punter, D line & LB depth, a top Kick returner Don't forget: Trubinsky will probably leave, so we need a solid veteran backup QB who won't tank a SB run And: Depending on what the BIlls think of Hodgins and Stevenson's development, another quality veteran receiver (with speed)
  5. I just put this in the Dorsey thread, and I think it has strong relevance here. I tend to agree with you House, we do not want any experiments or unknown quantities. Furthermore . . . "If Dorsey does move on, I wonder (worry a bit) how that affects Josh Allen? Exhibit A: I am reminded of the quick downward spiral of the Texans when they did not hire the guy Watson wanted. I realize there were a bunch of other factor there, but my point is that you want the organization to do everything they can to keep your star player's emotional psyche in balance. Allen has alway talked about how Daboll was more than a Coach to him. It appears (from the outside) he has a similar relationship with Dorsey. I worry how it will affect him if both go. Exhibit B: Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers is uber talented, but it appears (by the results) that his on-the-edge psyche, along with his abrasive personality, does not play well on his teammates over the course of a long season. It seems the Packer have done everyhting wrong in keep him happy and content, and the team has paid for it. I think Allen is built on a much stronger platform than these two examples, but I do not want the Bills to test that either. I do hope McDermott and Beane are serious when they discussed that Josh would be involved in the process. He has to be fully on board with whatever they end up doing." My Point: Whomever it is, they have to connect fast and well with #17.

  7. More run game creativity and less of Josh being a part of it. (I would love to see them add Cordarrelle Patterson, as well as a young big strong--and fast--power back who can block and catch.) And continuing to put pressure on the Defense by stretching the field, with the ability to take advantage of the short passing game when it is needed.
  8. The Bills (and the rest of the AFC East Division) built the platform for his HOF bust. Get Gronk on the phone today, Mr. Beane!
  9. Okay everyone, get in key and sing this with me: a one, a two, and . . . Ob-la-di, ob-la-da Life goes on, bra La-la, how the life goes on Ob-la-di, ob-la-da Life goes on, bra La-la, how the life goes on That was good, let's take it from the top again: 1 , 2 , and . . .
  10. All you need to know about the Pro Bowl, two words: Tyrod Taylor!
  11. So you're really excited about next season?
  12. To your heading, all I have is, "yes." The play in the 2nd quarter where he, for some reason, runs straight into the pile why Clyde-Edwards H, runs to the left and the wide-open door Edmunds just gave him and picks up 25 yards kind-of sealed it for me. I want him to be good, but there is a lack of in-game, in the heat of the moment, situational awareness, that all great athletes have, and he does not. Yes, he has the tools, but there is a disconnect in his instinctive brain wiring, and that play right there is a perfect picture of his career.
  13. Amen! "A spiritual demolision" ... exactly, so high to so low in 13 seconds. We need a little Marv now . . . “Fight on, my men,” Sir Andrew said, "A little I’m hurt but not yet slain." “I’ll just lie down and bleed a while, And then I’ll rise and Fight again.”
  14. His big point: Score 10 points against Jacksonville, or close the Tennessee game out, and the Bills host and probably win that game if it is played in Buffalo. ..... That is the biggest thing that this team has to do to improve next year, win the games you should win and put yourself in the best possible position for the playoffs. .... It is no stretch to say this loss started in Jacksonville.
  15. Wide Right Music City Miracle and now, 13 Seconds
  16. Stupid run on 2nd down. When it gets little, It puts too much pressure on the next play.
