  1. I think you missed the obvious point of the video: One was open and the lack of arm strength allowed the Defense to make a play on the ball -- he was wide open, but the under-throw closes his openness. In the other, he was open and arm strength allowed him to stay open and take advantage of the openness. Don't over think in, on every play there are mutilple variables that could make it successful or not, on these two examples, the obvious point is that the arm strength of the QBs makes a huge difference.
  2. Tragic, on all levels. Parents are not supposed to bury their children. Whenever and however that happens, it is always tragic. There is no grief like a parents grief in the death of a child--no matter what age the child is. Prayers and peace for his family and friends.
  3. He may be great, but I am just not a big fan of drafting RBs in round one. Their shelf-life is short, and way too many examples of really really good ones being picked up later. No, I would rather go for a harder to fill position.
  4. Naturally, the Mafia's reach is alive and well in Las Vegas.
  5. The age is the only negative. But this article seems to negate that negative. I do hope!
  6. Araiza - You only notice punters when you have a bad one. If he is as good as advertised, I'm all in.
  7. OK, I would be happy with this pick at 25. But I would be even happier to get him in a trade up in the second round.
  8. "I just wonder why my value isn't being upheld," . . . It really is one of the great mysteries of the 21st Century.
  9. I'd be very happy wtih that.
  10. What???? He wasn't eligible? Can you explain?
  11. A nice post by Marquez Stevenson's agent. Thanks for participating. I do hope he develops, it would be a real nice bonus to the WR room. But he did little in his first year to garner any confidence he'll be a big-time contributor going forward (as someone pointed out on page one, his field vision and radar system seemed broke on his return runs). But I do hope.
  12. Never! He is the reason the Bills will not be drafting any running backs. This is his breakout year. …. Let the C Wade threads begin. ….. 🤣😂😅😆😝😃🤪
  13. No need to pay for anything, this is why the Dark Web was invented.
  14. I had (have) a love / hate perspective of Bryan Cox. It was so much fun to see us beat him and the Bills Mafia ride him from the time he got off the bus until he got back on it, and then some. But he was also the best at giving right back--middle finger and all. He could dish it out, and he could take it. It was pure competitive entertainment. .... I wish they would have mic'd him up during a game at Rich Stadium. .... But I'm sure it would be nothing but bleaps the entire time. ..... Also, it feels like karma that his son is now a Buffalo Bill. I bet he loves the irony of that. ... Regardless, I, like you, still loath the fish. I hate how they destroyed us during the 1970s--I think we were 0-for the decade. Even with Tyreek, we'll still pound them. Our goal, take the 2020s!
  15. Ahhh! Mr. Beane did have a plan for RG. I can sleep again.
  16. I see your point. My point is that hopefully it becomes a catalyst or defining moment that pushes the franchise forward. Two things come from the Harmon drop (and symbolically, both games in question): (1) They could walk away from that game knowing they could play with and beat anyone. And, (2) It sparked a motivation and determination to come back better next year!--and for years to come. Time will tell if that is the result of 13 seconds. Based on the off-season moves, I would say it has so far.
  17. Checking in to see if the deadline has come? Is it business days, or does the weekend count? The silence out of OBD deafening, I guess I need to get over it and accept that Mr. Bates is gone. But I'm left wondering what the plan at RG is? Ford = Ugh! Maybe with a new coach he becomes what they had hoped. But hope is a very poor strategy. Tommy Doyle has been suggested = I doubt it. A vet signing = This fits Beane's MO, so more likely than the two above, but the clock is ticking. Draft a "Day One" Starter = No guarantees (isn't that what Ford was supposed to be?). A big risk, high reward thing. Or all of the above (and maybe a mid or late round draft pick as well), and "let the best man win." = This too, is risky. What about protecting QB1? Having a weakness at RG all season will be troubling. So back to the original issue: Why let a dependable player like Bates walk when there is no obvious upgrade (or even equivalent) replacement in place ??? Beane has been a brilliant this off-season, but this one puzzles me.
  18. Take him in the 3rd! With or without him, or whomever else we could draft in the 3rd, the Bills have one of the deepest and best rosters in the NFL right now. So why not pick a person who immediately makes one aspect of your team better? Isn't that the point of the draft?
  19. I watched that game with a bunch of Browns fans. It was a sad day. But it kind of reminds me of the feelings I had at the end of the Chiefs game this season: this team is right there, and it is ready to break out next year. Harmon drop = 13 Seconds
  20. Not hard to imagine that being the case. If he goes, this is the one Bills Free Agent that I will be truly disappointed that we did not bring back. It just does not jive with the "protect Josh" mantra of Beane at the end of the season. .... I guess they know more than I do, but I not seeing the plan here ????
